"Hello [Member name removed] , Thanks for your reviews , when we installed your uv lights , you asked and we told you that the bulbs need to be changed annually , but so times you can get up to 2 years before bulbs need to be replaced , when I told you it was time t race the bulbs , you elected not to do so , then when I was getting ready to leave you found out that the bulbs only needed to be replaced and stated that on your next service you would change them . As far as missing your scheduled date , you told me you forgot to call us for an appointment , we gratefully said we would add 1 visit on to your contract . You might also remember that when I installed your uv lights , I took your pumps apart and cleaned them and also cleaned out the drain pans that were all clogged up , ( at no extra cost ) . You mentioned you just had the unit serviced by another company and you weren't happy with them . We look forward to seeing you on your next maintenance checkup , thanks again"

Brian spotted the problem right away. Interestingly, it was the result of something that was installed incorrectly by a previous company that finally gave out. He fixed the problem and was done within an hour.
Brian didn't try to sell me anything beyond what it took to fix the immediate problem and told me my system was in good shape otherwise.
I liked the fact that his charges were broken down between labor and parts so I could see each item individually. No hidden fees, in other words.
Brian struck me as a very experienced professional and someone I can trust to tell me the truth and do an efficient, competent job.

The first time was on a Monday. I sent 3 emails through Angie's list and he responded within 15 minutes. He then called me at the time I stated I was available. He worked me into his schedule even though it was later in the evening. Came out and knew what the problem was within 5 minutes. He replaced the part and was gone within an hour. Very friendly and informative. he showed me how to do some preventative maintenance on my AC.
The second time it was on a Saturday, I called and left a message at 10:30 AM. he called me by 11 AM and was at my house before noon. Again he had it figured out within 5 minutes. he did not have the part I needed. He was able to get a part that will work over the weekend because I have a football party Saturday night and needed the AC. He is coming out during the week to fix with the correct part.
He was here over an hour and a half and did not charge me a dime for the visit. He will be out later in the week to finish the Job. I will recommend Lewis Air to anyone that needs AC work.

The day of the job he called me from the hardware store to let me know he was going to run a little late - I appreciated the notice. He and his assistant jacked up our unit and custom-built a support. They also sealed the vent. Additionally, he provided and installed specialty screws and closed the outside unit, which was left open by a technician from another company. They also cleaned up after themselves - this included vacuuming.
We have three a/c units on the property and have decided to go with Lewis Air Conditioning & Heating to maintain them from this point forward. Very professional and personable - even with my kids, their friends and our pets running around.

At no point did I feel that Brian was trying to sell me anything that I didn't need. When I bought my house it was bank owned and there was not a lot of information passed to me about the age of my unit. I could tell by looking it wasn't "newer". My concern was having to replace it. I inquired about replacing it with Brian. He again explained everything in detail as to what would need to be done to replace it and gave me the information to make a decision on whether I should just make the repairs now and replace the unit later. In no way did he push me in either direction.
I made the choice to replace the compressor. This was on a Saturday outside of Brian's normal posted hours, at no point was that an issue nor did it cause any extra costs. Personally I've never experience that with a repair company.
Brian then made some temporary repairs to get my unit up and running until he had a chance to shop for the best deal on a compressor. This included using parts from Brian's inventory at no cost.
By Tuesday of the next week Brian had found a compressor that would fit my needs and installation was arranged. Brian showed up promptly and installed my new unit. I was very impressed and comfortable with Brian and his business that I signed up for a yearly maintenance contract.
It would be great if all companies performed at this level. Thanks Brian!
Also, I'd like to add that the "F" rating from a previous customer was not posted upon my choosing Brian and after reading when coming in to add my review I am very surprised and based on my experience with Brian am not buying it as being accurate.
