My salesman was very helpful and informative. When the job was completed, I found chipped tile and much uneven tile that someone could literally trip on. I complained to my salesman and within a few days, he and the owner came to inspect the tile work. The owner ordered a complete re-tile at no cost to me. He also had the carpet installers return to refasten the carpet where it connected to the tile. I am very happy with the new installation. They also adjusted for my inconvenience. Although the tile was poorly installed at first, J B stood by their work. That to me is excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them.

The experience with them was good.

The initial pricing at JB was excellent. The price of the product was decent and they were willing to negotiate a little due to the size of our project. The labor costs were reasonable for both the demolition and installation and they were willing to start immediately. The floors were installed and and look beautiful!
My main issue is that once the old wood had been removed, they needed to use 20 bags of floor leveler before they could install the new wood in my living room. This is because they literally had to jackhammer the old wood out. They told me they were going to need to use it, but never mentioned the incremental cost. It turned out that it cost me an additional $1,500 when the job was finished! When I I questioned them about giving me a break on the leveler, I was told there was no room for negotiation... nothing they could do. I even tried to negotiate additional flooring for my lower level and carpet for my stairs, but it made no difference. I used them for the carpet because I was in a bind, but have gone elsewhere for the additional $5,000 in laminate I needed.
Overall, I like the flooring I now have, but am angry that they would stick me with an additional $1,500 bill once the job was completed. I was never told the cost for the floor leveler until I was handed the bill at the end. That's not good business!
I won't recommend them to anyone I know. They started out as the best price option, and ended up costing me a lot more than the competition would have charged for an equally good product.

They pulled up old carpeting in my new home and replaced it with laminate. The people in the showroom were very nice as well as helpful and very knowledgeable. The male/female team who did the actual work were incredible. They worked tirelessly into the evening hours. I'm extremely pleased with my floors and highly recommend them to anyone considering to replace their flooring.
