These guys are fantastic!  From start to finish, the job took less than 3 weeks.  The guys who worked on putting the new sea wall in were courteous and went out of their way to accommodate us.  I couldn't be happier with the entire experience and the final result.

This was the best experience i have ever had with a construction project.
It started even before the bidding process.  We have a lot of waterfront property in my area and and as I drive around town I see their trucks a lot.  I mean really a lot.  I also talked with several friend who I know have had seawall work done, and everyone I talked to said these guys were the best.
I met with Harry who came out to my house to look at the project.  I explained that I wanted to get my own engineering work done so I could use that to have him and other companies provide comparable quotes.   There is only one main Marine Engineer in my area that almost every company uses, but I was having difficulty getting him to come out to get some drawings.  harry helped me make contact with the engineer to get the drawings, knowing that I might use another company.
The price was less then I was expecting, but Harry told me it would be 6 months before they could start. With all I had learned about the company I knew it would be worth waiting for them.  They were supposed to start when we came back from a vacation. we returned to find that they had already done a weeks worth of work and were ahead of schedule.  
The crew was quieter than I expected, and had a far less impact on the rest of the yard then I expected.  They were polite when I spoke with them, and very efficient.  Each day they came in, seemed to complete one stage of the project, clean up and leave.  It was extremely orderly, and they really seemed to know what they were doing. The city inspector even gave me an unsolicited comment that this was one of best crews around. That gave me a lot of confidence.
 
When the job was complete, the crew replaced just about everything.  The pavers, the fence, the sprinklers, the dock.  It was amazing.  
Gulf Coast Marine Construction has set a very high bar for our next contractor to try to meet.

They scheduled a date, they arrived as scheduled, worked hard and long to complete the job ahead of schedule. Every technical question was addressed quickly and professionally. I would recommend them to others. I actually recommend them to a canal neighbor last week. The only issue I had was is with backfill that was placed without compaction which has resulted in holes in yard.

It turned out very good. They did a very nice job and did it within the scheduled time. I had some questions after the fact and they came back to follow-up. My neighbor had the same work done. There was a break in a pipe that went through the seawall and they came back to fix that. They do good follow-up work.

EXCELLENT! The family business of Buzz and Little Buzz and crew did an amazing job on my 95' sea wall in Tierra Verde. This was a Huge Complicated job and they showed why they are the best in the business at Sea Wall construction. I quoted this out extensively and decided choose them based on referral and the fact that they showed up on time for our meeting. Also Buzz obviously knew much, much more about sea walls than the other companies I had out. They did everything they promised and did so on budget and on time. The work crew and foreman where very courteous and cleaned up there work zone every night to make sure my Dogs didnt get into anything. I highly recommend them and my neighbors will be calling.

Within a fews hour of calling, Buzz was at my house to develop the plan and his work crew showed up later that same day! Just like when they built the origional wall, his crew is very hard working. They dug the new holes for the deadmen and by the next day they were having concrete poured. I was extremely impressed by the fast action of Gulfcoast- it allowed my pool contractor to get right back to work and stay on schedule.

My good friend used Gulf Coast but I always get 3 to 4 more estimates to compare and judge for myself. I think the thing that impressed me the most was how hard the 3 to 4 man crew worked and the quality of their workmanship and cleanup.

VERY PROFESSIONAL! BUZZ (THE OWNER) WAS VERY RESPONSIVE TO MY NEEDS - LIKE INSTALLING A NEW CONCRETE WALKWAY FROM THE PORCH TO THE NEW WALL AND BREAKING OUT MY OLD DAVIT CAPS. HIS CREW WORKED EXTREMELY HARD AND CLEANED UP EVERYTHING AFTER THEMSELVES. THE WALL IS BUILT TO LAST AND LOOKS GREAT TOO!!! OH, BY THE WAY, HIS PRICE WAS THE BEST ALSO!!!
