What a wonderful company! I called last night after hours when I discovered my garage door wouldn’t open. Diana at Genie of Clearwater returned my call this morning and scheduled me for service. I could not open the door manually, and I had a doctor’s appt. in the afternoon. She accommodated me by sending Jeff to fix my door this morning. What a wonderful, knowledgeable gentleman! He replaced the capacitor and my garage door was functional once again. I have always used Genie of Clearwater. It is a very professional company. I like patronizing local companies in my city. Problem was diagnosed and repair accomplished quickly. Jeff installed the garage door 14 yrs. ago, and has maintained it several times over the years. Excellent company. Highly recommend them.

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. It's hard to find good and responsive contractors. I have used Genie of Clearwater any time I have an issue with my garage doors (4 of them). They are always responsive. Always on time. Friendly and NEVER a hassle to deal with.

Excellent customer service from initial call to Diana to schedule appointment to service provided by Joe. Genie of Clearwater installed our original garage door in 2005. Made appointment to purchase and install a wireless keypad for garage door. Diana indicated they had tech in area and could have installed it the day I called. Installation was scheduled for the next day at my request. Diana called the next morning to confirm time and again 15 minutes before the tech arrived. The fee not only included keypad and installation but the tech also checked and serviced the door and other moving parts. I had several questions about the keypad, door and opener and Joe not only answered all my questions but offered excellent advice and recommendations. Highly recommend this company.

Jeff arrived on time, diagnosed the problem immediately (faulty wiring in a sensor) and repaired it in less than half an hour. He was polite, pleasant and cheerful and explained everything very well. I've used Genie of Clearwater for about a dozen years and have always been completely pleased with their service and with the fact that they keep excellent records of what they've done. Their long-time sales manager, Diana, has always urged me to have them repair anything that can be fixed, rather than automatically trying to sell me something new that I may not need -- a rare trait, and one I really appreciate.

We have called upon Genie of Clearwater for garage door replacement, tune-up and/or repairs over the past 18 years and have never been dissatisfied with their work. Today's call was for a garage door that kept stopping midway up or down. Making the appointment, getting a confirmation call back and the arrival of Jeff- and his diagnosis and repair all went quickly and efficiently - as we've come to expect from this company.

The techs arrived on time, explained the process and immediately commenced to work. The project went extremely well. The techs explained all the functions and cleaned up the work area. Our entire interaction from the phone call with Diana the office manager, to Jeff who provided the estimate, to the techs who did the work was totally professional. It was a pleasure to conduct business with a knowledgeable family owned local small business.

I called and easily made an appointment with Diana for a service call that was convenient for me. On the morning of service Diana called to let me know that Jeff would be arriving shortly. Jeff arrived and was very pleasant and professional. He thoroughly examined all components of the door and opener and made some minor but needed adjustments. I was extremely pleased with all aspects of my interaction with Genie of Clearwater and will highly recommend them to friends and neighbors.

When I called to schedule the service, the person answering the phone asked me some simple questions and was able to identify the cause of the problem and walked me through the steps to resolve it.

The Genie repairman was very courteous and professional. This is the second time I have used their services and I cannot recommend them enough - they are responsive, prompt and very knowledgeable. The cost was also reasonable.

I noticed my garage door was making a slightly different noise on closing a few days ago. A couple days later it started slamming on opening, closing hard and sounding like it was running rough. I called Genie of Clearwater and set up an appointment. Technician Jeff responded at the appointed time. Jeff was extremely personable and efficient. In a very short time Jeff diagnosed the problems. Jeff quickly replaced the parts needed and oiled and greased the door at a very reasonable price. The door works great. Years ago I used Genie of Clearwater on another problem. I was very pleased then and am happy to report their service is still great. I will never use another company.

From the estimator, to the coordinator, to the installers - top notch service all the way. The estimator informed me of all my options as far as the door and opener and provided exact pricing for what I wanted without any pushy sales tactics. The coordinator, Diana, was pleasant and friendly, and kept me informed at every step. The installers knew their stuff, took down the old 1960's door and opener and hauled it away, then explained all the new components thoroughly and demonstrated how to program my opener.

It went very well. Jeff arrived promptly and took care of everything for us. He even told us how to program an additional opener for use in our home. Bonus: the company called me the day before because they had an opening if we wanted the service done earlier. We couldn't take advantage of that but it was nice to get the call.

Aaron, the installer went above and beyond the call of duty. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Even called his supervisor about one question I had. 
The office staff is great too. She went the extra mile for me at every turn. 
All around just friendly, caring and professional. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Great!! Gave Diana a call (I have been a customer of theirs since early 2001) told her my problem & they were here in just a few hours. Aaron was super, he got right on it & in a very short time he had the problem resolved. Diana & Genie have always given me super service!! I would recommend this company in a heartbeat! They are A++++ in my book!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent. I am very satisfied. The door and rails were well installed. The door and bracing are substantial. You can clearly see the difference between a regular door and a "hurricane" door. I also had the weather shield installed. Technicians were timely, courteous, and skilled. I am very happy with the price as well.
