Fresh Finish Pools

We have used Fresh Finish Pools for almost seven years now. In the beginning Ray would do the service visit himself and we were very satisfied. As the company grew, we lost Ray and got another service technician that, over time was unsatisfactory. We were getting to the point we were going to start looking for another company. Yesterday a new technician, Conner serviced our pool, we were very pleased. Conner did more than test the water and casually drag a pool net around the edge, he took the time to vacuum the pool, worked on the salt cell and was very friendly when I came out to thank him for the complete job he did. Thanks again Conner!!

After 10 years of service with minimal contact - our pool is easy and we typically are working when they show up - they stopped coming. No notice, no explanation. Called the office to get update on why no service in two weeks and the response is Ray cancelled us, there’s no notes to why and he’s out of town. I believe his wife does the office work, so you’re telling me out of no where you all cancel clients without giving them a heads up? And your “paperwork” has no notes on why the owner no longer wants to service our pool? Unprofessional small business owners. A simple email would have sufficed, to given your client a heads up you no longer will service us. And if someone calls your business, have some information. There are dozens of business’ out there, wasn’t hard to find another who was gladly able to pick up our service. Hopefully you read this Ray and do better for the clients you “choose” to do service for.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with Fresh Finish Pools. Everyone on the Fresh Finish team has been highly professional and friendly. We've lived in this house with our money pit (oops...I mean pool) since 2015 and they are our 5th pool service. We were about to take over doing everything ourselves because we were getting so frustrated with everyone in this industry. Fresh Finish Pools completely changed our minds. Every week, they provide so much value that we would have to be REALLY crunched to ever consider the DIY route again. Thank you Fresh Finish Pools!!!!

Everything discussed and negotiated was completed. The price quoted was the price paid. Ray, the owner, is very professional and understands every aspect and is detail oriented. There were no "unexpected" surprises throughout the entire process. Ray also serviced the pool for free for one month to make sure everything was working and balanced. Because of this I hired his company to continue to service the pool each week. He is an extremely "hands on" owner.

Messaged them on list Angies on the 21st of May. No communication at all. Not even to say they can't do it. Must not need the work.

The work was done promptly and without any complication. The pool tile and interior finish was replaced and the results were stunning. I recommend Fresh Finish Pools to anyone needing a pool equipment repair all the way up to a full renovation like you see in the photos.

I called Jill to have an estimate for a new pool surface to be installed on our new pool. Her husband Ray came out on-time and was very professional. Most contractors wouldn't even call us back once they heard the term "Fibre-Tech" or "Fiberglass Surface", other contractors didn't seem interested in the business at all and mostly were interested in new builds. Their price was in the ball park of other's prices. We ended up going with another contractor (whose price was a bit higher), because we preferred Pebble-Tec, if we had decided to go for a quartz aggregate finish we would have hired this company. I am certain that they would have done an amazing job if we hired them. We recommended them to our neighbors who are also looking to re-surface their pool, but they are waiting to see how our pebble-tec comes out to start shopping.

I had a problem with my Hayward Aqua Rite chlorinator and found Fresh Finish Pools as an authorized repair service on the Hayward website.  After then checking them on Angie's List and seeing the positive reviews, I gave them a call.  Jill was very polite and listened to me try and explain my issue.  She then transferred me to Ray who correctly diagnosed the problem over the phone just based on my verbal explanation of what was happening.  After assuring me he could easily fix the problem, I was transferred back to Jill who managed to fit me into the schedule in a matter of days.  Ray showed up as scheduled a few days later and the repair was completed promptly, expertly, and at a quoted price that I thought was just for the part.  Ray even took the time to look over my pool, listen to my various complaints and concerns about some other issues, and give me a number of suggestions for addressing everything.  No hard sell for anything, just honest opinions and options for addressing my concerns.  It is obvious that Ray knows pools inside and out and that he cares about the quality of his work and that his customers have a positive experience.  I would highly recommend Ray, Jill, and Fresh Finish Pools for any and all of your pool service needs.

Excellent.  This is a true small family business who clearly realizes that that the quality of their service is the key to business success.  
Ray is totally knowledgable and honest (He even found us a deal on an LED underwater light that saved us $150 from is estimate. We would have never known the difference).

The quality of his work is so good that our Homeowners Association has even changed our maintenance policy to allow Fresh Finish to regularly maintain our pool.  

We hired Ray to replace our Hayward salt generator that had stopped functioning.  We wanted to hire Ray to also service our pool on a weekly basis but because we are so far south, it was not feasible for Ray to do this.  From my first phone call to Ray's wife, Jill, I felt reassured that we'd found the right person.  Prior to hiring Ray, we had gone through 5 pool services in 6 months (all of them on Angie's List) and each one worse than the next so it was a relief to find someone competent and conscientous.  Ray replaced our Hayward salt generator with a Pure Chlor system.  I don't care for the Pure Chlor because it doesn't give you a salt reading.  You just get a blinking red light ("check salt") and as a homeowner, blinking red lights are unnerving.  The only blinking red light I want to see is when I'm at a casino playing the slots.  Ray has explained that the Pure Chlor system is hungry for salt but the advantage of the system is that there is no mother board to replace.  In installing the system, Ray was a perfectionist.  After Ray installed the new salt generator, he spent over an hour explaining to us how to take care of our pool.  He explained pool chemistry and drew up a schedule for us of what to do each week to maintain our pool.   When I got concerned about the blinking red light and I called Ray, he asked me pertinent questions (our salt reading never increased despite my adding salt and I was constantly having to add stabilizer) and he figured out that we most likely had a leak and recommended Brad of Clear Water Leak Detection.  Brad came out, did a dye test to determine where the leak was and epoxied the cracks.  Ray even offered to replace our Pure Chlor with a Hayward if we continued to be uncomfortable with the blinking red light.  
Ray really cares about his customers .  He is diligent and goes above and beyond.  When we put our house on the market in a year, we will hire Ray to prep the deck and do touch work on the surface of the pool.  I would highly recommend Ray.

Ray tackled a very tough pool algae problem that other pool services could not handle.  He jumped right in the deep end and really got out pool turned around.  It looks and feels great - and all for a great price! We are no using him for our regular pool service and it has never looked better!  Thank you, Ray!

After being dissatisfied with our previous pool cleaning company, my husband and I searched Angie's List and found Fresh Finish. We knew beforehand that we needed a new pool pump, so Ray recommended one and installed the pump himself.  After several misstarts due to our home's electrical issues, Ray got the company who makes the pool pump to re-issue new motors (twice) for the pump at no charge (even though the issue was due to our electrical, NOT the pump).  He worked tirelessly to make sure that we were satisfied and that we were NOT charged for an entirely new motor.
The weekly cleaning we receive has been absolutely ABOVE and BEYOND what our last pool guy did.  We get weekly letters with the PH, chemicals added, and alkalinity of the water, etc.  Most importantly, we get an exact time that he was here adding the chemicals to our pool, and a note stating how long we should wait before we can safely swim again.
VERY PLEASED with this pool service, and would DEFINITELY recommend.

I highly recommend this company.  Ray Pearon takes pride in what he does and has given us good guidence from the beginning.  We bought a home 6 months ago and have never owned a pool.  We wanted a pool heater and Ray guided us on what we should buy and what would work best with our pool.  We are 100% happy customers!!!   Highly recommend this family owned business!!

Ray has been awesome from day one.  He is always very responsive to calls or texts and replies as promptly as possible.  We tried maintaining the pool for about a year ourselves, but just found that it took up too much time that we don't have or want to spend doing during our limited off hours from work.  We did an ok job, but from the first week Ray took over, our pool has been crystal clear and beautiful.  We never had it looking so good when we were doing it.  Ray lets me know how the pool is doing and leaves a detailed explanation of what he did on each visit.  Billing is easy, as I get a paper-free email bill once a month.  No regrets in hiring Fresh Finish Pools!

The process was seamless. The professionalism was flawless. The cost was comparable but the service was second to none. I've had 4 pool companies in 6 years and I've never had this level of service by any of them. The weekly maintenance is provided with cheerfulness and thorough as are the "non-scheduled surprises." I cannot profess enough how important my pool is to me because I'm in it three times a day for my arthritis and to have this kind of company attend to it, is one less thing I have to deal with and one MORE vendor I have to brag about!

For the past year and a half we have been utilizing Fresh Finish Pools for the weekly maintenance of our pool/spa. Not only does our pool & spa look amazing, but we have an unbelievable amount of trust in this company and would highly recommend them to any pool/spa owner.

Ray was awesome and came out the same day we called.  He educated me on my pool and equipment (just moved in).  He didn't try to upsell me on anything and he came out several days to make sure pool chemical working correctly.  We signed up with weekly  maintenance with him $100/month including chemicals.  I like that he maintains and does repairs.  I found him from a referral outside of Angies List and he came highly recommended.
