FLORIDA WEST COAST AIR CONDITIONING

They completed the job in 1 hour with 2 guys after I moved everything to give them better access. Nobody had to get in the attic as you could reach off ladder. They charged me $350 for the job. What choice do you have in Florida as we need AC. 1 hour of work $350. When I asked why it was so expensive I was told that is the cost of doing business in these times. I feel like I was gouged for sure. I will look for anther company next time. I trusted them before but not now. I feel like I paid to fill up at least 3 of his Ford Transit service vans.

Excellent. Very professional. the price is very fair. They got the job done very quickly. It was a complete system install. They have done other work for me at a different property.

They do well installing but they will NEVER come back for any services, warranty or check ups. They are all about the top dollar and nothing else, they just want to sell and install units and move on. Joe Hope is not only the owner but a neighbor so I felt comfortable hiring him, BIG mistake!! He won't even answer the phone or give call backs. He takes your money and runs.

Work went very well. Owner and workers punctual. Very good outside cleanup. All work performed as agreed upon. One cosmetic error made but outcome was satisfactory to me.

They were responsive, came out right away to quote us, offered us a realistic installation time and date and explained the AC solution needed. The owner, along with his crew showed up on time and worked hard. He sent a crew, not just one person to do everything. That crew replaced our air handler and condenser unit. The whole AC solution was cooling our house within a few hours and have had no issues or complaints. Thankful for Joe and his team that worked hard to make our home comfortable and cool again for a reasonable price that was lower than two other quotes and the same as one other quote. He beat them all with the right pricing and how soon they could install the AC unit. Also, they cleaned up after their work was complete and did not leave any debris/cardboard, etc., when they left.

We had 2 units - an ancient one for most of the house & a 15 yr old one for 600 sq ft addition. Everything was wrong about the setup & last summer our electric bill showed the price of it to the tune of $600 a month. We had 3 companies out to provide quotes & Joe was upfront and entirely honest. One company told us that we needed all our ducts replaced - Joe said they were fine (he could have told us the same thing & charged so much more!). For that reason (along with a few others, but not just because his quote was the lowest), we went with him.
Joe & team came out and replaced both systems completely, along with 2 new programmable thermostats within 3-4 hours! He's also working with Duke Energy to get us setup with rebates for converting from electric strip to heat pumps. Absolutely amazing customer service and for a really fantastic price!

We have utilized this a/c company for many years now. Joe, the owner, has always exceeded our expectations....having serviced our air conditioning and those of our children's homes. He has always been prompt and courteous, and I believe, has always given us a fair deal. I believe that one of the reviews on Angies list has been written maliciously and it is a discredit to show this online. Joe and his employees have always been courteous, efficient, timely, and caring. They especially pride themselves on being a neighborly company and have proven themselves over and over again with our family, coming out after hours when necessary.

They did great! They were responsive professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend them to others.

The guy said that we should put another return system in the house but we never did that so that might help with the air conditioning itself. We didn't have any problems with them at all. They came in a timely manner and they did their job. There was nothing negative.

I wasn't able to be there for the project because I was called away for an emergency. I will never make that mistake again. The project was terrible. The guy who came afterwards to fix their shoddy work was visibly agitated. I had to call somebody because they unit was leaking. I called this company back first because they gave me a warranty. I guess their warranties don't mean much, because when I called them to fix it, they said that they don't service that area anymore. I was extremely mad. After much heartache, I decided to give up on them and call a professional to have it fix. I will be happy to never hear from them again.

The representative came out and he was very honest and straight forward. We talked about the different options I had. I went with a more expensive model. I got a refund from the government. I have been really happy with it. It is energy efficient. I had him come back as we had problems with the thermostat and it has humidity controls. He comes out right away and helps me with it. He has been very good.

Joe Hope, the owner, and his two workers were very helpful and did a good job.

EXCELLENT. REPRESENTATIVE WAS ON TIME TO OFFER QUOTE. SERVICE SCHEDULED WAS ON TIME AND COMPANY WAS VERY EFFICIENT. CLEANED UP AFTER THE JOB. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
