I was replacing 30-year-old vertical blinds, so I needed assistance in selecting new window treatment for my living room.  The sales representative was very knowledgeable and accommodating.  He came to my house again when I ordered the shutters, and I decided on a different color for the shutters at that time, so I was glad the transaction was done in person, not over the phone.  He estimated that the shutters would take about 10 weeks to be built, and they were right on time.  Installation was done quickly and efficiently.  The shutters look great!  The only negative feedback I have is that the patch job on the wall above the shutters where the old blinds had been removed was quite thick, so it took some work on my part to sand the patch down before it could be painted.  Otherwise, I was pleased with all aspects of the project.

Rick arrived the week before installation and displayed several samples, of window blinds. He was very patient and knowledgeable about each blind. My wife selected a blind and Rick measured all 7 windows. Before he left, he gave us a time line, when installation will start.
Next Thursday, Rick arrived, on time, and ready to install the blinds.  He installed all 7 blinds and even modified one window frame, so that, the blind, would fit better.  My wife and I are completely satisfied, with the quality, installation, and appearance, of all 7 window blinds.

The features, quality, installation and price from Florida Shutters & Blinds was excellent.  Rick came on time for the estimate and returned on time for the installation.  He gave us lots of options for the installation and shutters then came through with exactly what we requested.  They look terrific in the room and from outside.  This is a very bright room in the morning and now the room can still be sunny without blinding and private without being closed up.  The woodlore product is easily cleaned and we believe these shutters will continue to look new for years!

The woman in the office is horrible about returning calls. Completely incompetent! Seems put out about questions. Doesn't want to be bothered to set up an appt. Just wants you to give measurements and order window treatments.

They don't want to waste their time and gas to drive to any other county since they moved to Odessa.

Not sure what happened to this company. The quality of their products and the installation themselves are not up to par at all.

Went with another company that I picked on Angies list and was extremely happy with them

It was very nice to deal with the owner during the whole process.  He was always very nice and personable.  The shutters looked perfect and he was very meticulous during the install and caulking.

Rick was prompt, quick, efficient, and answered all of my questions.  He is very experienced about window treatments, and we would definitely call him again if we had additional work.

Rick arrived at my home November 15, and did some measuring.  He gave me an estimate and did not pressure me at all. He said he would leave the estimate and let me think about it.  He was very polite and, my wife and I had many blind samples to look over. He did not rush us at all.  With his good Angie's rating and fair pricing, we decided to have him install our blinds. Before leaving, he mentioned, he would order the blinds, and would call me, when they arrived.
I received a call in a couple of weeks and we set up and installation date.  Rick arrived on time and installed the blinds. He cleaned up afterwards and I would definitely use him again.

The experience from start to completion was great. Rick was always on time for both the estimate and installation and he made several excellent recommendations for our shutters which we very pleased with. The shutters were installed professionally by Rick on the date scheduled. Overall, working with both Rick and Carleen was both pleasant and first class throughout the entire process. I can highly recommend Florida Shutters & Blinds.

Rick and Carlene of Florida Shutters and Blinds installed  vertical blinds in a room that already had verticals on the east and west windows.  I wanted blinds put in all across the south window to match the older blinds that were already up (all windows, no wall space).  They did a terrific job of matching the new with the old, and everything fit together perfectly when they were finished.    It took a bit of extra figuring and shifting due to the configuration of the roof, but I couldn't be happier with the result.  I also asked for suggestions for two metal doors in the room, and they suggested Hunter Douglas pull-down shades that I abslolutely love---and they blend beautifully with the vertical blinds.  I would recommend this company unconditionally  to anyone.  Besides doing great work, they are warm and caring people..

 From start to finish, they did a superior job, from initial consult by taking time to help me choose colors etc to final install, when they came and were consummate pro's, knowing exactly how to do the install correctly, efficiently and PERFECTLY!
Additionally,  they sell a quality shutter . I can assure you that I would never let anybody get near my windows for installs EXCEPT Florida Shutters and Blinds. Carlene and Rick do it right the first time ALL the time! Exceptional service! Thank you!

It went great. I had worked with them before. They measure and everything fit perfectly. He gave options that were very helpful. I give them top marks on everything and will use them again.

Rick was a consummate professional from the beginning to the end of our project. He was exceptional every step of the way - making sure he understood what we wanted (color, style, etc.), giving us detailed and accurate estimates and alternatives, making himself available at any time to answer questions, staying in contact with us regarding scheduling the prep visits and service date. Wow. We are perfectionists ourselves and are very demanding when it comes to service. I am not sure we have ever worked with a service provider who was so professional, meticulous, clean, and service-oriented. Rick sets the bar high and still exceeds your expectations. I can't forget his wife too, who also was involved with scheduling our appointments - like Rick, she was courteous, friendly, and detail-oriented. They make a great team! Everything went well. The order took a little longer than I expected; however, Rick knows his products and his knowledge base considering window treatments is impressive. Gave me helpful suggestions and assisted me in picking out the most practical neutral colors. Upon my request, showed me other products that were available for my patio door and French doors for future consideration. Also gave me websites to check out so I could see the products.

it was a wonderful experience and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Rick and Carleen. I got personal service as they are the owners of the company. The alteration of the Luminette blinds was beautiful and saved us money as we would couldn't have used them without the alteration. This by the way, was Rick's suggestion and greatly appreciated by our pocket book. The Vertiglide fit the bill perfectly for our slider. It provides privacy when closed and maximizes the view of our lanai when they are open. I strongly recommend this company and would use them again without hesitation. You more than get your money's worth with them.

They are very responsive, they got back to me right away. One of the owners, Rick, came out to show me the different options. Everything came in on time. The installer was very good and clean, left the work site nice. I have had the shutters over six months and they have been great.

Blinds were ready in a little under two weeks. The owner worked to make the price affordable. The installer arrived on time and got all the old blinds removed and the new ones up in an hour and a half. We were impressed. All old materials were hauled away. Deposit was half down.

Everything went very well from the time we called them for an appointment to measure the windows to the final installation. We would highly recommend Florida Shutters & Blinds.
