FLORACULTURE PLUS INC

This company is on the way down hill.
I used them for about 2 years with mixed results. When Spencer was doing the work, it was OK.
But they started hiring untrained people. and the quality of work went down the tubes.
A company employee fell into my pool with a bucket of poison pellets. I had to clean the pool after this mishap. I should have fired the company then.
The last time a kid was doing the work. He over sprayed and killed my some of my plants. I tried to contact the company, but no responce. In fact, you can't even talk to any one. All they have is an answering service and no listed email address.
What a travesty.
DO NOT USE THIS outfit.

Overall, the job was not good. In the very beginning, they were good and attentive. But in the last couple of years, they were almost abusive. We would go out and say something to them. They would just basically say that we are supposed to do this and that and talk back to us. I told them that I was the customer and that they shouldn’t blame me because the lawn is not going good. We left them about four months ago and went to somebody else. I would not recommend them. They are not professional. The price was competitive and fair; it was about average. But the overall service was not good. We had lawn problems, dying grass, bushes with mold and mealybugs. They basically didn’t do what they should have been doing. They weren't really monitoring the situation. They were more like coming out and going through the routine and leaving, and not noticing problems with the lawn which they really should have addressed. We would not use them again in the future.

They are very prompt in coming and they always call us in advance just because we have pets and security-wise we keep our gates locked, so they are pretty thorough about making sure that the gates are locked and closed. They've turn our lawn background. Their price is fair.

Their service was horrible. They did decent with weed control, but my lawn was over-run by multiple species of lawn destroying insects, cinch bug being the most destructive. Their rep kept telling me I wasn't watering enough (but I did water plenty - verified with "tuna can" test. Got estimates from 3 other companies before I fired them -each found a massive cinch bug infestation - which Floracultures "lawn expert" commented each service call that we were lucky we didn't have any chinch bugs. He apparently did not have any idea as to what a cinch bug and cinch bug damage looked like. The guy who did our lawn had almost 0 knowledge of lawn insects and how to control them. I've lost about 25% of my lawn and of course, I have my house on the market to make it worse. I'd love to sue them for damages, but companies like this know it's just not worth the trouble. When I fired them, they did not try to retain us. They know they destroyed my lawn and were glad to see it go.
