"Hello [Member Name Removed], I'm really sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your gate latches. We would be happy to come back out, even at this late date, to inspect your gates and get them working to your satisfaction. As far as the cracks in the posts, that is a natural occurrence with pressure treated wood that is also known as checking. As the wood ages, the outside of the post dries faster causing the check. Please be assured that the strength and durability of the post is not affected by this process. You can find more information on this in the Guide to Wood Fence by USFenceGuide.com. If a crack goes completely through the wood, this severely cracked wood should be replaced. Please let us know if you would like us to come out and get your gates working properly. When he did arrive to do the work it went very fast and flawless.
He and his crew are very quick and good at putting up the fence.
After a couple of months I really like the job and the fence itself.
