A warning to any potential customer of Cre8 Ink. located at 14000 US 19 N, Clearwater.
For the sake of avoiding frustration and sub standard service, please look for another kitchen cabinet company. you have to pay 75% of the cost in advance. Once the old kitchen is removed you are at their mercy. They take advantage of your situation to extract more money from you. The granite countertop 73"x19" weighing over 300 lbs. was improperly installed and they refused to fix it. Installation of the cabinets is sub-standard, the finish of the granite countertop is substandard. .

It was $7500 for the cabinets, granite and the installation. The price is good and the quality is good. They are professional. They are fast. They are just unreal. To get the whole kitchen done for $7500 was amazing. It looks so professional. They were fabulous.

The owner Louis at first appearance seems to be a nice guy. However what we found was a business man who is impossible to communicate with. He does not answer his cell phone and his mailbox is always full. Each time after complaining to his office staff we would get a return call from Louis only to be told he would be there on a specific day and time. Time and time again he missed his promised times and dates without even the courtesy of a simple call to advise us of yet another schedule change. Once the granite was installed they poured a granite sealer on the granite. Louis immediately got concerned about a gummy like film that was appearing on the granite.from the sealer. He assured me that the film would dry and that I should buff it out with a cloth the next day. Over 2 days later there is still a gummy film on the granite that cannot be buffed out. After complaining to Louis he advised that he had talked to his sealer supplier and that it was defective sealer that they poured on my granite. He assured me he would be at my residence at 8:00pm on 12/23/2009 to put acetone on my new granite to strip off the defective sealer and reapply another sealer. I am obviously concerned as to what that will look like? It is now 9:43pm on 12/23/2009, and once again Louis has not shown up and has not called. He is not answereing his cell phone and his mailbox is full.

The experience with them was very good. We had really shopped all over for granite and I could not find anything that pleased me. We went to them and I found a sample I liked, so they took us to the stone yard right then and there and I picked out the slab I liked. They had it installed in our small kitchen and did a really nice job. They were professional, responsive and punctual.

I knew Luis, the owner of Ocean Stone, from when I had a horrible experience with a previous kitchen contractor and was left without a kitchen for 9 months. Because of my previous experience with Luis, and because of the good recommendation of my new kitchen contractors I chose Ocean Stone to do my granite countertops. Daphne, the showroom assistant, worked tirelessly with me in the granite and glass tile selection that was within my budget. Luis came to template for the granite and worked with Mike Mitchell, our kitchen contractor, to make sure all went as planned. In just a few days Joey expertly installed the granite and we love it. It's a beautiful kitchen.

They guys that did the job couldn't communicate very well, but management was exceptional.

I was searching for a company to install granite countertops in my medium sized kitchen and found Ocean Stone. I went to their showroom and was greeted with smiling faces and positive attitudes (the employees enjoyed being at work). After consulting with the Granite professionals I decided to go with a wonderful slab of Juperana Bordeaux. Within a few days they came, took my measurements and template. They started on my kitchen right away and had it installed within 2 weeks. The installers were very efficient and on time.

I went to Ocean Stone after shopping in several larger stores and new early on that this was where I'd spend my money for the new kitchens I was having done. The main reason that stood out to my wife and I was that the owner, Luis, really took the time to talk us through different options that fit the budget we were working with. I never felt pressured to make a decision or like I was getting pushed into something I couldn't afford. Luis and Ocean Stone were more than helpful when they came out to measure and do estimates making a few suggestions that have turned out beautifully. People always talk about how nice the kitchen looks when they come in our home.

Did everything I asked for and the only piece (corner) that had to be joined looks perfect; no one can tell there is a seam unless I point it out to them. Pricing was much less than comparable quartz counters and the material is much better. I can place hot pots right out of the oven on the counter and cut veggies without a cutting board. Employees at Ocean were very helpful and knowledgeable about stone.

Very poor. The company installed "pieced" granite counter tops. When we called to complain they sent a representative who agreed the granite pieces were a poor match. He then proceeded to finish installing our dishwasher. While fastening the dishwasher he drilled a hole through the countertop. Ocean Stone was willing to reinstall the countertop but only if we paid for the plumbing and electric work. The hole in the granite was not our fault so we refused to pay (a second time) for plumbing and electrical. We stopped payment on our final payment of $1500, which was a good thing because they were not about to stand behind their product or their installation error.

RACHEL, AND THE WHOLE STAFF AT OCEAN STONE, WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE PROCESS. (WE TOOK SAMPLE AFTER SAMPLE OF BACKSPLASH HOME BEFORE WE COULD FIND WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR!) I HEARD FROM OTHERS OF COMPANIES THAT TAKE OFF YOUR OLD COUNTERTOPS ONLY TO MAKE AN INCORRECT TEMPLATES AND THEN LEAVE YOU WITH NO COUNTERTOPS FOR DAYS! THEY LITERALLY HAD IT DONE IN ONE DAY. (GRANTED, WE DO NOT HAVE A LARGE KITCHEN). VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CLEAN. COMPETITIVE PRICES AS WELL - GRANITE IS PRICED ABOUT THE SAME EVERYWHERE SO INSTALLATION IS KEY. THESE PEOPLE KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THE GRANITE AND MARBLE BLACKSPLASH LOOK GREAT. (NOT SURE OF THE EXACT COST BUT PROBABLY AROUND THAT #).
