COUNTRY CLUB NURSERY INC

Had arranged to purchase two protocarpus shrubs in 15 gal pots from country club nursery.  Loaded plants onto trailer, only to then learn that plants were substantially overpriced.  Further, one shrub was completely engulfed in red ants. 

Manager initially refused the return the plants, arguing that the purchase was final,  and became abusive.  Eventually angrily admitted that plants were overpriced compared to other nurseries,  Cost eventually refunded.

I started the transaction on July3rd and of today August 15th i am still waiting for completion. The crepe myrtle that I wanted was at least 6-12 ft tall and red. I was quoted a cost of $190.00 for the tree and the rest of the cost was for planting it and taking out the three small dead palms. I now have a tree about 3 ft. tall (and red but wasn't told it was a dwarf/very slow growing) and a large crack in my concrete next to where the tree was planted. They said the crack was from the roots under it being moved though I also think the machine they used could have done it. The owner called me once and "discounted" the tree $35.00 since it wasn't as tall as I wanted and the supplier charged him less. I actually got two identical trees from Home Depot for $35.00 each before I contracted with Gil but realize big box stores can charge less. I left a message for him to call me back last Tuesday and have yet to hear from him. Last week he told me he would personally be out and the work would be completed, but I see no evidence that that happened.

Nicole Gonzales was the representative who we worked with on the project. She was a true professional. She provided us with excellent service. The Bahia grass was not in the best condition. She was not pleased with it and took off $100 from the price with a commitment that she would keep an eye on it to make sure it was doing well. I also had a coupon that I clipped out of a neighborhood flyer which she happily honored. Excellent instructions for the care of the new plants were given.

Nicole was great - she answered all of my questions and concerns, and suggested ways to save money on the job. Her crew worked hard and were very polite. I would definitely use them again & recommend them highly.

I HAVE USED THEIR SERVICE SEVERAL TIMES. THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY DO A WONDERFUL JOB AND THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL. THEY WILL GIVE YOU ADVISE AND OFFER SUGGESTIONS. THEY ALWAYS GO ABOVE AND BEYOND BY EXCEEDING MY EXPECTATIONS.

EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP, BUT NOT THE CHEAPEST.
