CLEARWATER GAS SYSTEM

1. They dented my stainless steel stove in 2 places.
2. The water now takes almost 2 minutes to reach my kitchen faucet and they argue that this is normal.  They sent out a plumber and even he agreed it was NOT normal, but there was never any follow up.
3. The service manager guy (Donnie Packer) referred me to a plumber who I can't see to find a license for or record and who did not show  up when he agreed to.
  AVOID this company they seem to hire all their buddies and are not accountable for how they treat customers.  That is just the basics of the problem with this company.  I wish I had checked AL before I hired these %$#^%.

They came when they said they would. They came in lower than the estimated cost.

I made an appointment with the City of Clearwater gas services to estimate a repair on my gas stove. They gave me an appointment for an estimate on 2/16/11. They would NOT give me a window for arrival. I had to wait from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. They arrived at approximately 3 p.m. The repairman was supposed to call before he arrived, and he did NOT. He assessed the repair, but could not give a monetary esstimate for parts and labor. The person they sent did not impress me with his knowledge, and was vague in some of his explananations and answers. The Customer Service office was supposed to call the NEXT day with the information. They did NOT. I had to call them. They gave me a price of $200 to fix 2 of my gas jets. I agreed and they scheduled the repair for 2/24/11. Again, no window of arrival. They NEVER showed to do the repair. I wasted an entire day waiting. I have not heard from them to this day. I did not bother to call the gas company. I made the mistake of thinking the gas company was only appliance repair co. that would fix my gas stove. I was very wrong. I had asked my usual appliance repair co. to do the repair, but they do not touch gas stoves. He recommended I call the gas co., which I did. I should have shopped around on Angies List. The City of Clearwater gas services should stick to just supplying gas, and get out of the Customer Service business. It was one of my worst experiences, and they did not even do the repair. I believe that was for the best. I wish I could get my gas from another company.
