+ -1 moreI have been going here off and on since 1995. Some of us who have been working out here for years feel that buying new equipment was not necessary and ostracizing the former instructors was not necessary. I'll still keep coming here because it's the closest gym to my house and that makes a difference. The instructors are good, classes are good, but lacking some of the more popular classes offered at other gyms, such as Zumba. I've made friends with the folks in the classes and other who I see on a regular basis, but the friendliness of the old Golds is gone.
Description of Work: I work out at this gym (formerly Golds) 2-3 times/week. I use the cardio equipment, the machines, free-weights, and take Pilates and Yoga classes. On occasion I will buy a protein shake. Recently this gym changed owners, upgraded all of the equipment, gave the building another new paint job, put in a new spin room, remodeled the restrooms, and changed the classes and class instructors.
