Carter Assembly

Went very well.

I purchased a Sauder desk and credenza. When it arrived it quickly became apparent that it was no simple assembly. I was very pleased by the experience with Carter assembly. He was prompt for the appointment and was able to quickly assemble the furniture. One of the pieces was damaged in shipping. The gentleman offered to come back at no charge to finish the credenza once the replacement part was received.

Very well. Carter can put together almost anything. Ikea furniture, other furniture aside from Ikea, my out door patio furniture, assembled my two barbecues, and several other small items.

Terry showed up on time with all the appropriate tools, and work table. He got to work very quickly. Everything was put together perfectly. He was extremely patient and exacting.
His problem-solving skills, work quality and personality are all an A+!
The price was an incredible value. There's no way I would have been able to do what he did, in twice the time.
I would definitely hire him again.

Terry came out on a Saturday in the awful weather to get our job done.  He promptly took off his shoes when entering our home which we really appreciate.  He did a great job and even pointed out a crack in one of the wood pieces so that we could have a new piece shipped.  It did not prohibit him from putting the piece together and he did not have to mention it but being the professional he is he made sure and let us know.  He also secured a glass door to an entertainment center we have been having problems with.  I highly recommend him.  Thanks Terry.

Terry was so gracious and accommodating when my dad's Ikea bed broke.  My dad is 96 years old and in an ALF.  He was in a panic when he heard a loud noise and his bed shifted.  I got in touch with Terry and he understood the sense of urgency and made arrangements to visit my dad right away.  He repaired the bed as the movers had not put it back together correctly.  Terry understood the difference in needing something put together vs a senior who was afraid to get in his bed the next night.  I cannot thank him enough for his customer service.  My dad always told me customer service meant something in his day.  I was happy to find someone like Terry that delivered that type of service from my dad's days.  

Great service provider.  I contacted Terry when a different Angie's List provider flaked out - never showed for a scheduled appointment and never called.  I spoke to Terry on Friday via email.  He offered to come out on Saturday and complete the assembly work.  He arrived on time and was very professional.  I had an idea for customizing the tv stand.  He took a look at the materials and gave an honest assessment re: why my idea was not the best thing to do.  Fast worker and cleaned up when he was done.

Called Terry at 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon, we were in over our heads with new office furniture. Terry came and saved us. A professional and personable gentleman. going out of his way on a Saturday evening to help us out. Would use him again and have no qualms about giving him the highest of recommendation.

Arrived on time, opened the three large cartons I had set in my living room. Carted the pieces back to my den at the rear of the house. Inventoried all the parts and began assembly when that was done. Worked quickly and quietly until he was done. Everything fits and works. A pleasant, clean and efficient young man. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Terry was extremely accommodating. He was scheduled to put together several pieces of Ikea furniture however; the Ikea delivery company failed to deliver when promised. When we notified Terry that we had to postpone because the furniture was not there, he was very understanding and although he was booked the next day he worked with us and came on a Saturday afternoon to help us out. He was very easy to work with, knows what he is doing, and does it well. We were so impressed with him that we hired him for a 2nd job which he completed today. He is quick to respond to inquiries and follows through with what he says he will do. I have very high expectations when it comes to customer service and Terry exceeded those expectations. Thank you Terry for not once, but twice helping us out. We appreciate both jobs you completed.

He showed up on time, finished all the work and the job completed (items secured on the wall with hangers etc) was first class. IKEA is no longer a project to eat up all my weekends but a pleasant trip!

They are excellent. I would call them again when I have something else done like that.

This multi talented young man completed the job quickly, quietly, and efficiently. He was kind to rearrange the date with no problem. A very good experience.

Carter's Assembly Service was a positive experience from start to finish.

I contacted Terry about putting together a desk that I had bought at Office Depot that had come in about 500 pieces!He immediately responded to my e-mail. I sent him a link of the desk I had bought and he gave me a price over the phone. The next day he drove to my house and assembled the desk in less than 3 hours. He was punctual, very polite, and did a fabulous job putting the desk together! I would definitely use him again for other items that need assembling!! My husband was thrilled that he did not have to put it together and now I can shop at IKEA more and not worry about the hassles of trying to put furniture together.
