I had this company replace my heat pump, and am completely satisfied. They gave me a competitive price without any high pressure sales. They showed up on time and completed the install quickly. They even submitted the Duke Energy rebate request for me. The staff was professional and courteous. I really can't say anything negative about Carr Air Conditioning and highly recommend them.

After being without power for 6 days after the hurricane, my a/c broke when the power came back on. Thank goodness for Carr. They were prompt in coming right out to get everything working again.

I would use them again.
I have been using their service periodically over the course of a 15-20 year period. I think it's a relatively new owner now than when I first started using them, but I would say the experience was the same even with the new owner.

Wayne (the owner) was very nice and
personable. The price was very reasonable and the unit was installed within 3
days of when I agreed to his proposal, even though we were in no hurry. The
instillation started around 8:15 AM and was completed by 3:15 PM. Carr even
installed a new surge suppressor leading too my outside coils and put a new
grate on my return air inlet free of charge. The crew cleaned up all material
and when they left you could not even tell that they were here except I had a new
AC. I would recommend Carr Air Conditioning to anyone.

The service was OK. When vacuuming he did not place a bag on the vacuum and all of the debris ended up on the floor.

He cleaned up everything and they did a wonderful job. Just a wonderful a company. When my air conditioner was struck by lightening they came out and fixed it that very day. There no charge since they installed it for me.

He didn't honor his price on the warranty that he offered when he originally installed the unit, 4 years ago. He was trying to have us pay for a service call that should have been covered under warranty and he didn't find what the problem was.

There was a leak and freon had leaked out of my air conditioner along with other problems to be fixed as well. They did the repair and did a good job. The service man was very polite, explained things to me and I was very satisfied with his work.

I called at 8:45am and Jose came to my house by 9:45am, the quick service was very unexpected and I was glad, considering that previous night without AC was miserable. He inspected the unit and sadly it was not the cheaper fix and needed a new fan motor. He was very professional, amicable and pleasent to deal with. He cleaned the unit, replaced all the old worn parts, tested it and put in freon. The job was thorough.
There was some confusion with the bill, but a phone call to the owner and it was straightened out: I definitley don't hold that against them. Very nice customer service. I would call them again and intend to use them at next years AC tuneup.

Carr had installed the system about 2 years ago. We used Carr for the annual, routine maintenance because of the installation. The service experience was flawless in scheduling and appearance. The work was seamless and they reported on the results. I've had other annual inspections done in Tampa at almost twice the cost with worse results. For the service, the price was more than right.

The second time I used Carr Air Conditioning Co. was as professional as the first time. Their caring, patience, and attentiveness was so very evident. I commend the owner of the company on such a professional staff he has in his employ. I would not hesitate to call this company again.

Called Carr A/C after having Progress Energy come out for a free energy check and they had suggested that we have a duct test done to make sure that there were no holes or leaks in our ductwork. They had us call Carr A/C because they are in partners w/them to complete the work and Progress pays for half of the total charge, which was $60 (we pd $30). When Raymond arrived, he was on time, professional and explained everything as he was doing it. We were pleasantly surprised that he came back and said that our ductwork looked great and that we didn't need anything done. The only thing that he suggested was that we get some additional insulation in certain spots in the attic, but they didn't do that sort of work, so we didn't feel that he was trying to sell us something that we didn't need. I feel that they are very honest and we will use them in the future.

I AM SO PLEASED WITH CARR. THE SERVICE WAS FABULOUS. THE PRICE WAS GOOD. I ONLY HAVE GOOD THINGS TO SAY. THE SERVICE PERSON WAS CLEAN AND NEAT. AFTER HE GOT THROUGH CHECKING THE UNIT IN THE BACK HE TOOK HIS SHOES OFF. THE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE ARE VERY, VERY NICE, VERY PLEASANT TO SPEAK TO. GOOD SERVICE STARTS AT THE TOP AND I'M PLEASED FROM THE FIRST PHONE CALL. THEY WERE HERE BRIGHT AND EARLY. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING AS HE WAS GOING ALONG. HE WAS VERY CAREFUL ABOUT CLEANING EVERYTHING AND HE DUSTED. THE ATTITUDE HE WALKED INTO MY HOUSE WITH WAS REFRESHING. THEY WILL BE MY PERMANENT SERVICE COMPANY.
