Bob's Carpet Mart

Saw ads for Bob's Carpet advertising free installation, padding, etc.  Met with Joe at Bob's Carpet of Clearwater.  He explained the various options and we decided to go with a higher grade Shaw Carpet and top grade padding.  This was a very small job for our master bedroom closet, so there was an extra $50. labor charge that we agreed to.  The carpet is top quality and we are very pleased with it.  The installation was excellent.  We will probably have these folks put the same carpet in our bedroom as we continue with the remodeling of our home.  No problems and fair prices.

I wasn't totally happy with the way the product was installed.   They didn't stagger out the seams very well.   I am unsure if I received everything I paid for.   They kept everything in the vehicle and brought the materials in a small bundle at a time.  This made it difficult to tell if received everything I paid for or not.

We needed new carpet and depended on Angies list for guidance. We went to Bob's, selected a selected a reasonable carpet and they said they could be there the next day. I also asked them about a small wood flloor installation and they recommended Larry at Diversified Flooring. The next day, the installers arrived and did a decent job with exception that they did not have a Shop Vac and left the whole house with carpet shreds around it. I called Larry and he quoted me $80.00; When the installers showed up, they charged me $140 and could not finish the job due to the fact I did not have the edge molding. I have called Larry many,any times with not return phone call. The salesman also told my wife that they would make rugs from the 2 remenants at no charge. When we went to have that completed, the salesman told us he did not say that. All in All, not a good experience with Bob's.

Utilizing Angies List, I called Bob's In Home Sales requesting a certain carpet style and color that I found in a carpet store outside of Florida. A phone call away, Bob's was able to confirm that they could obtain the exact carpet and pad. We set up a measure date that was convenient for the residents of our upscale investment property. In Home Sales was prompt and issued a Proposal via email. I called with any questions and request for additional clarification on the Proposal. My questions and/or concerns were handled in a very prompt and professional manner. The Proposal came in at a very competitive price to two other carpet vendors from Angies List. The carpet installers were on-time, curteous and I was very satified with the final results of the install and the area rugs. The installers left their work area clean. The follow-up of payment from the home office was professional and timely.
