It really works nicely. It is so light-weight and easy enough to transport in a car while traveling. The unit comes with a battery charger that also holds accessories. It does a fabulous job! We have several steps in our home and it is real easy to use on the stairs. Another very nice thing about it is that there are no changed needed when switching from hardwood to carpeting. The vacuum is designed so that is does not need any belts and that is one less thing that would need to be replaced. I would recommend people purchase this vacuum at Bed Bath & Beyond. If you have ever had any trouble with items you have purchased here as well, they will take care of it without any problems. Dyson is a great all-around machine from carpeting, hardwood, to stairs. It is easy to maneuver at any angle or any space.
