BAY AREA BUILDING INSPECTION

Kelly Gibson went above and beyond the call of duty. In addition to being very through came back several months after inspection. Updated wind mitigation after two upgrades which involved impact windows which added to the hurricane protection necessary for a reduced monthly rate with the insurance company. Very through and customer friendly.

Kelly came out on very short notice to inspect a home for purchase. He was prompt, thorough, professional, and friendly. The inspection was very detailed and helpful. I would definitely recommend this company. (This was for a 585 SF flat roof home.)

Bay Area Building Inspection is awesome.  I've used them for years and they're fabulous. The price is good. It's market and what everyboy charges. It's not great or anything else and they're definitely in line. The quality is great.

My wife and I are moving from PA to FL and are on a tight schedule. Kelly worked us into his schedule to get it done the day after the Memorial Day holiday. I am sure this was a busy time for him. He was met at the home by my agent since we were back in PA. That evening I received feedback from him on the highlights of the inspection. On 5/28 I received all the written reports. He is very professional, friendly and honest. His reports were very detailed leaving no small thing out.
A follow-up call I placed to him was returned within the hour and he clarified some things for me. I would definitely use Kelly again!

A final report was very detailed to include color pictures. A report was sent promptly by e-mail as well as by mail to me. The report did indicate some information I could not understand. I e-mailed the inspector with about 6 questions. He replied a few days later with a phone call and helped clarify the answers to some of my questions. I am not fully satisfied with some answers to questions among them that the inspector indicated he did not know if there was a smoke detector in the condo. I have also found a non-working wall outlet since the former owner moved out. This was not reported. There were stock answers to some findings that should have had detailed answers. Overall, the report did give some very helpful ideas to how to maintain or correct certain items.
