+ -1 moreI purchased a sound insulated diesel generator from this company with a switch box AND an installation. Their having not been fully upfront about everything, and me not knowing at the time, that the install required a PERMIT, I had to decline the install by an APPRENTICE(?) that was not working under anyone's license. One good thing is that this company is local, has a wide range of diesel generators and in the future hopes to sell bio-diesel for the generators. My generator came already out of the box and looked used. but it is a diesel, they are tough. I suggest if purchasing, insist that is is delivered in the box, opened prepped and tested by Auto-start AT your address. According to their brochure, they have extended warranty and maintenance contracts, I was never offered the options. They are local therefore you can see and hear the product. If you purchase from them with a switch box, I do not suggest purchasing the install. Get your own contractor.
Description of Work: The install was NOT performed. The licensed electrician never submitted a request for a permit. I verified that with two phone calls made a week apart to the city of Clearwater. Since I used an AMEX card for the purchase, I have already received a $300 credit from AMEX, the rest to come. The electrician: Richard's Electrical in Clearwater
