Allied Fence of Tampa Bay

When we made the appointment to have them come out, we told them to call the day before so we could take the old fence down and to make sure we were home. No call was made, and they had to take the fence down and had to pay for it. Was told that it should of been down because we knew we were getting a new fence. We told them we had dogs and a kid and that we needed to keep them fence up until the last minute and wasn’t a big deal for us to take it down, we just wanted to keep our little one and dogs safe in our yard. They didn’t care and wouldn’t adjust the price or apologize. The fence has been leaning and when I call, they call right back and are prompt enough to come fix it, so that is the only plus!

This company installed a fence on my neighbors property a month or 2 ago. In the process destroyed my sprinkler lines by digging post holes directly over them. After digging out to see what was done, it is clear that they had to know that they broke my lines in the install of the posts. Digging a 2 ft. hole my pipe was only a foot down embedded in concrete . Not only once, but 3 times. Called Allied but to no avail. They said not responsible for sprinkler lines . It is in my neighbors contract. But it is on my property. They refused any responsibility and would not discuss the matter. Basically " Too bad, Too sad" Screw you. Now it's going to cost me hundreds of dollars to repair.

There price was a little high and we went with another company called Danny's Lawn Service.

The estimator was misleading with what he described was the minimum cost of labor and erroneously factored in a longer fence that would've covered up the power meter. When the actual fence crew came out and did the fence they corrected the estimators mistake and made the fence five feet shorter. The actual crew did a good job. Then they told me not to pay the original price as they used less material. I said okay I'll wait for you to call or send the bill ( I had already paid a $450 security deposit).
Moments later I get a highly charged and angry phone call from what I found out was the owner. He was highly bothered that I didn't pay the crew right up front. When I relayed the information they told me about using five feet less of material he barked back at me that and quot;it doesn't matterand quot; he still used a certain amount of wood it's in your contract. Funny thing was the estimator NEVER gave us a receipt of the contract. I was actually under the false impression that the estimator was the guy who owned the company and did the work himself.
Finally the owner came over to our house and we handed him he check glad to get him out of our hair. He gave us a copy of our receipt and when I said good day he then said something like 'it won't be good now that Obama has been re-elected' it was the day after the election.
While I'm not political in any way I found it kind of off-putting he was such a crank to his customer based on the election the day before? It's not like we had signs in our yard or bumper stickers on our car.

We LOVE the look and security of our 4 ft LifeGard fence. We decided to have it installed along the top of our seawall and had no difficulty with the installation. If things change, I will be sure to update this review. But as it stands, we are more than happy with the service and results.

It was a very pleasant experience. The workers arrived on time and finished on time. They were very professional and respectful of my home. The fence looks great and the quality of the work is outstanding.

Everything went nicely, from intial estimate with Pete, the receptionist (Carla if I recall correctly) in the office--who handled a last minute item, and finally with Vance and his crew of installers. The men were punctual, courteous, professional, and cleanly. The completed job is really nice, and we are satisfied with the outcome. The price was more competitive than other bids--with more rapid turn-around time! Great experience all around. Would highly recommend these guys.

Good! They had the parts that I needed for a fence that was from another brand. They were very helpful and eager to meet my needs.

They did a good job. They were here promptly when they said they would be and did the job on time. If needed, I would use them again.

The sales person, Mr. Lancaster came to our facility - North Trinity Self Storage and gave us the best quote to remove and replace one section of chain link fence. They did such a great job that we hired them to handle 2 more sections of the fence! They always gave the BEST BID. They were NOT THE CHEAPEST, BUT they were the BEST FOR THE QUALITY and Service provided. We are truly happy with the service and product and would hire them to provide their services to some of our other facilities.

They did an excellent job on the fence. It is completely straight and the boards they used are nice and thick (5/8"). The gates put in are very good quality with an aluminum frame around the inside so that the gate does not sag. They had the old fence torn out and the new fence put in by after lunch. The only issue I had with them was that they did not call me the day ahead to tell me they were coming. I had asked ahead of time to be called because we needed to notify back neighbors that have a dog and several plants hanging on the old fence.
