Al's Window Tinting & Custom Window Treatments

We had an usual request for double roller shades (needed black-out and sheer options) and spoke to several companies. Maria and Al were one of the few who understood what we were trying to do and found the right blinds for us. The Installation had a small glitch but they worked with the manufacturer for a quick resolution. Their Installation Team was the best! The shades are beautiful and work exactly as we wanted!

We received quotes from multiple vendors for 4 very large windows. The sales rep from Al's was the only one that showed up with no mask on (in the middle of a pandemic) and not even a smile or introduction. She then proceeded to tell me what the type of shades I wanted would not look good (even though the architect and interior designer both recommended this design) and tried to upsell me on something else. Throughout the whole appointment, she made me feel like she had better places to be. I remained polite throughout all of this and finished the appointment. Over a week later and I still have not received a quote from the company. The other companies gave me a quote within an hour of the appointment. I guess my $3800 project was either too big or too small for this company to handle.

He used the wrong screws and the curtains started to fall. I tried to call him twelve times. They would not answer my call. I finally had to call someone else.

 From the first phone call to the finished job,  it was a pleasure to work with Maria ( who comes to the house for the initial assessment), and Al,  ( who is swift,  professional,  informative and funny!).  They were very helpful in helping us qualify for an

energy rebate offered by Duke Energy for window tinting.  They also applied an Angie's list discount.

With the whole house window tinted, the reduction in heat is remarkable.  A great assist in A.C. $ savings! ...

We only would wish that all other service experiences were as smoothly accomplished.

This is the third car Al has tinted for us in the last 3 years. The workmanship is excellent and we have always been very pleased with the final look of the vehicles. Al is very nice and provides a professional looking end product. He came to my office location and worked on my vehicle in the parking lot.

I recently moved to St. Pete and Al came highly recommended from European Performance when I was getting my vehicle worked on there. I called Al and within a few days he came to me (he's mobile) and within a couple of hours, my Range Rover had its driver, passenger and windshield tinted. The side windows matched the factory tint on back windows very well which made the look seamless. Al was very nice and the price could not be beat for the quality of work he did. Definitely use Al...you won't be disappointed.
