I had bough an old lamp that needed rewiring I had the needed supplies and no problem until the wires would not go through a curve in the neck. After many frustrating hours I started calling around. No one was willing to do the work. One place said they would not use what I had just bought I would have to buy their wire and 2 more sockets, finally Kate at A Shade Better said "no problem" She was very friendly and gave me some pointers on wiring. They also have some beautiful unique lamps and shades.

THEY WERE INCREDIBLY NICE AND TRIED TO REPAIR THE FLOOR LAMP IMMEDIATELY BUT IT NEEDED TO BE DISASSEMBLED. BOTH LAMPS CAME OUT GREAT. THEY HAVE A WONDERFUL COLLECTION OF SHADES AND LAMPS THERE. THEY ARE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHERS, BUT THE QUALITY IS FAR BETTER.
