M2 Construction LLC

I hired M2 Construction to do the renovation at my condo after I had a hot water tank leak. They were hired to remove the popcorn ceiling, install new kitchen cabinets, install LVP flooring and install new base boards. During these projects they managed to shatter my granite countertops, nicked my walls, repainted where they have scuffed or dripped ceiling paint with three-year old paint that didn't match, and more. This required repainting the entire condo, which I did not anticipate doing. I was then charged additional for their mistakes. The floors are poorly installed. There are dips, hills, and separated planks. I stopped the project at one point and had the owner come over to see the progress of the project, and he assured me that the project was still underway. He promised a final walk through with me and said that I would be satisfied with the work in the end. That walk through never happened. I had written several emails voicing my concerns with the project as it progressed of only one that was responded to. However, when it came time to pay the remaining balance on the job, I was contacted several times. There was a charge of $3886.73 on the final invoice for "Materials paid for by M2 Construction". I asked for an itemized list of the materials before I made the final payment. However, M2 Construction would not provide that to me before putting a lien on my condo. After the lien was put on my condo, I received the itemized list of materials. I was charged for the caulk gun, $183.57 for Tape/Painter's Tape/Trash Bags, and $142.16 for two pieces of drywall, just to mention a few. In order to end this nightmare, I paid the remaining balance and then the lien was removed. However, my floor is still lumpy, my closet doors don't shut properly, popcorn ceiling is still in closets, and there is no base board behind the refrigerator. I have never had a company so careless and unprofessional with their work than M2 Construction.
