CLEARWATER POOL & SPA

We had a discussion about fixing the shell, back in December, a nice young man encouraged me to weigh my options about buying a new shell or fixing the existing issue. I decided to buy the acrylic shell. It took 30 days for them to removed the old shell and install the new one. Once installed (45-50 days later) it turns out that it isn't even level. 

And now they say we have to cut out the $3,000 shell and they want to sell me a new concrete spa. I agreed to pay 1500 more (they did give me a discount on this). They pulled the shell out to replace with concrete.When they shot the concrete, it got all over the flagstone. They should have covered the rocks first. They tried acid and pressure washing- all methods have failed. They told me that they have a new solution, but I haven't heard anything since. The owner will not return my calls. We started this project 92 days ago.  The job was supposed to be completed 4-5 weeks ago.

They have done well and the service is fine.

Poor experience called at least twice to get estimate on pool resurfacing and install pavers no response.

Eventually, I got fed up, told Shane I would pay for the 4 cleanings, which I did $102.32, however that I would not pay >$250 for work that wasn't done or done shabbily. I told him I would be willing to work something out, $80-$100, but it still wasn't working and WHAT was I paying $250 for. SO what is my next correspondence from Shane & CP&S? A notice from the Clerk of Court that they applied for a Claim of Lien on my property for $350!!!! Oh, and by the way...they cashed the check for $102.32 BEFORE applying for the lien, according to dates on the check & the lien papers. After taking a long deep breath I called their office and left another message informing them if I did not hear from them (to work this out, which I had already suggested) by Tuesday August 5th I would contact my lawyer, place this entry in Angie's List and contact the Better Business Bureau. We'll I didn't hear back from Shane (what a surprise) and I called another company. Within 5 minutes their technician found where the air was getting into the system, around the values. An hour later after cutting off & replacing the pool valves, he got it working back to normal. Well worth the $175 to them. They also have the cleaning contract on my pool. If Clearwater Pool & Spa didn't know how to repair what was wrong, they should have said so instead of trying to con me. Do not use Clearwater Pool & Spa!!
