Wendy Mazariegos was hired to help design our living room and dining room and obtain furniture, wall coverings, etc. She made several trips to our house and from that point on it was basically a game of texts and phone calls. On her last visit she was given a leaf from our dining room table as we were seeking ideas for refinishing. We grew increasingly frustrated with her as she did not provide a written contract for weeks after her initial visit and argued with us about what we wanted for the two rooms. She was given a deadline of nearly two months for a fairly simple redesign and it basically turned into a “take the money and run” stunt. We contacted an attorney in an attempt to at least get our table leaf returned. She stated to the attorney that she would return the leaf to the attorney’s office. That never happened! We have come to find out that she scammed someone in Stamford CT for a large sum of money. She moves regularly and goes by the name Wendy Mazariegos/Wendy Velasquez and has lived at many locations in central FL. Do not do business with her as she will take your money!
