First off it took over a week paid for the window on Thursday was quoted $300 was to be installed by Monday. Well I called him Monday and was told by Wednesday. Wednesday I had to call him and he said Thursday. Thursday came and because of weather Friday. Friday came again I had to call him. He said he got the window and they're on their way. 1pm arrival time. Arrived around 1. But there's a problem with the installation he NOW wants $800 to install it.. Ummm you quoted me $300 . Now $800.. I suggested $500 he flat out said No he said he didn't realize how big the window was. And blamed me for not taking any pictures of IT. Well his worker and I sent pictures. Meanwhile the window is on the back of his truck. Then he said well you can call another company to install it. You let me know what you want to do. Pretty much said take it or leave it. I reluctantly agreed to the NEW QUOTE... Then I suggested that he tape up the window as to cut down on the mess. He said that it doesn't matter if there's tape on it or not. So he finally got his worker to get the tape. Kept saying over and over it's not going to help at all but tape it up you'll see. So the worker taped it up. Pushed in the window and low and behold it helped immensely. He reluctantly agreed it was a good idea. His worker said that worked really well. So after the installation I said how about a discount for saving you a lot of clean up. Said no. I'm already giving you a huge discount because he said that he did a window half the size and charged $500. So I paid him the inflated price of $800 instead of the $300 he quoted me.. I won't be using this company anymore for anything. And I suggest that IF you do get the quote in writing so you won't have to deal with a Guy more than doubling his quote!!
