Description of Work: I received good and sometimes exceptional service during the initial 1.5 yr of taking my truck there. Lately the service has deteriorated since the young man who ran the operation was fired or left voluntarily. I have no intentions of returning there with my truck. I have filed a BBB complaint and disputed charges with my credit card company.

Description of Work: My car and my husbands had trouble at the same time. We towed them to a shop we had used in the past but were not comfortable with what we were being told or how much. I went on Angies list and found Mechanics Plus. They were great and I even brought in my elderly moms car and they took care of everything. They were honest and reasonable and cared. I would recommend them for sure.

Description of Work: Oil change, synthetic oil. Owner was very honest. Told my husband he would need some major repairs on car, but if it were him he would wait with the repairs. (We liked this because we're used to being hustled in NY)

Description of Work: The service I thought was a little pricey, but the quality was certainly there. They took a little longer than I thought it would take to get the service completed, but that from what I can tell, was mainly because they had a number of customers they were servicing at the time.

Description of Work: I knew from the reviews on Angies List the work was going to be done correctly without any kind of up sell. I appreciate all of the care, attention and time he and his crew gave to my car. This is by far the best experience I've had with any repair shop ever!!!! My car is running like new and it is a 1998 model. Kudos to Bill and his great team.

Description of Work: I've actually been to Mechanics Plus on several occasions, but this instance really helped. I was in a bind because I was moving and my wife's car had some serious issue with it that I could not troubleshoot myself. Although the shop was really backed up, the guys at Mechanics plus took her car in right away and got me a diagnosis within that same day. They called all over town to find the best priced parts, but my wife's car is a very specialized limited edition vehicle, so everything is expensive and hard to get. They were able to get what they needed (an alternator had fried) and get it replaced in the next day. But above and beyond that - they offered to cart me to and from any locations I needed to be at, and even help me with my move that I was in the middle of. They offered to allow me to store items that I couldn't leave at my old property at their shop until my new property was ready. This really speaks about their ability to go above and beyond the call of duty. When my wife goes in to see them, she said that they treated her as an equal, didn't talk down to her, and gave her the best professional treatment that a guy could expect. This put them above other mechanics in her opinion.

Description of Work: My car wouldn't shift into gear. I called these guys and on the phone he told me what he thought it was. The car was towed to them and they fixed it. It took longer than he told me it would take because a part needed took 4 days for overnite shipping, so that wasn't thier fault. I was suprised at the cost of the repairs; i was expecting it to be twice as much as it actuaIly was. I was very pleased and these guys are now my mechanics for life!!
