This was one of the strangest experiences I've ever had with a service contractor. The first day I called, I left a message. Two days later I still hadn't heard back, so I called again and was greeted by one of the sales associates. After another call, we finally got a date for an estimator to come out. The estimator came on time, and asked if there were studs in the wall placed correctly for a frameless glass installation, which was one of the options we were considering. I didn't know, and he didn't seem to have a way to find out. So later on in a phone conversation with the sales associate, he agreed to contact the service contractor who had built the shower.
Things went from bad to worse over the course of the next couple of weeks. I found out that the sales associate had never communicated with the contractor who built the shower, and then we were left with a last-minute decision of whether to do framed or frameless installation. At this point we'd been without a shower for two weeks, and we were having guests coming the following weekend--so we had to have a working shower. All along, our sales associate had known we had a deadline, and yet there were many needless delays in communication. We finally had the glass ordered and a date set for the installer to come out.
The day before the installation, I called the sales associate just to double-check that we were still on track. The sales associate actually had the nerve to tell me--at 4:15pm the day before installation--that he had been meaning to call me all day because his boss needed all the installers for a really big commercial job that would take up all day Thursday and Friday, and he hoped that would be okay. Up until that point, I had been more than forgiving with the sales associate, but on this call I let him know how upset I was. He quickly backpedaled and agreed that there had definitely been problems, and told me he would call his boss to see if the installation could be done the next day as planned, which thankfully he was able to arrange.
The next day, the installer arrived later than I expected, and he had his 20-something relatives in tow. He said, "oh, didn't they tell you that I had to go to the airport first thing to pick up my relatives? They hadn't eaten before their flight so we went out to eat and then we came straight here." The two young adults stood around haplessly and seemed embarrassed. I tried to make the best of it, and just offered everyone some water. The glass was installed well, and the installer only had to return once (thankfully, without his relatives in tow) to replace a bit of silicone caulking that was leaking. Needless to say, I will not be calling this company again.

It was a really good price. It was great because our sliding glass door shattered and we could replace that too. They were really good.

I called three companies from the list and was given pretty good estimates from all, but decided to go with Bob's because the woman from the office was very pleasant and helpful. I could not decide whether to go with an OEM window or an after market one (cheaper), so she said not to worry; the installer would bring both and I could choose on site. That is amazing customer service! The installer arrived right on time, I picked my glass, he went to work, and was done very quickly. He cleaned up everything, vacuumed inside my truck, and took my credit card payment right there. It could not have been a more pleasant experience!

I called them and scheduled the appointment. They were on time and quite professional. They did the work in the estimated time frame, gave me instructions, and were off. Perfect. Pleasant. Professional.

I called on Saturday, to inquire if they provided mobile service. They confirmed that they did and went on to set up an appointment, on Monday. They helped me through the insurance details and tailored the appointment time, to fit my schedule. They called before arrival, and did a beautiful job in a timely manner.

We contacted Bob glass over the phone and described what needed to be replaced. The first estimate was $1,200. The price was cheaper than other glass companies we had called. When we decided to use their services, they came on-site and gave us a better price. The work performed was performed on-site, which was a plus. Bob's Glass performed an excellent job.
