FLOORS DIRECT

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. 
Note: We had to take them to small claims court and won because they did not show up. However, they have still not paid. They also do business as Flooring America.
Hollow tiles were found.
Paid extra for small grout lines but they were not installed 
Tile was uneven in some areas/lippage beyond industry acceptable standards
Paid for floor leveling, which was not done performed, however, the funds were not refunded as had been promised
We tried to work with this corporation to resolve these issues since with no success.
My experience with the company in a nutshell:
An owner pretended to be a stock boy with no authority when my husband asked for help resolving our issues. We looked up the Authorized Agent (for the court documents) and decided to Facebook the name. We found the "stock boy" in the picture was married to the Authorized Agent.

Price was lower than most and installation charge was lower than any other that I had priced. The installer, CT, was super, job was done very well and floor is beautiful. Floors Direct salesman, however, failed to inform about extra charges of installation ''transition pieces,'' it tacked on another 500.00 to the price! It was not included at bottom of contract where ''extra'' charges were listed. Salesman did work with us and lower price by 300.00. Overall satisfied.

Price of carpet was decent and installation price very low. Contracter sent to install was not satisfactory. Invoice says Precision Carpet Inc. First they moved all my furniture, including a bed outside! Usually carpet installers just move furniture out of the way to install. Helper made rude comments about the condition of our furniture! Left all the Fuzz from carpet installation all over floor! Filled 2 garbage bags! Left their installation garbage bags at my front door! Later I discovered areas where no carpet was applied and the bare concrete is showing!

THEY DELIVERED WHAT THEY PROMISED AND WERE ON TIME. THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE THERE IN THE MORNING AND WERE. THEY CLEANED UP APPROPRIATELY. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE. IT WASN'T TO DIE FOR, BUT A 'B' RATING IS APPROPRIATE.

IT WAS GREAT BECAUSE THEY DELIVERED WHAT THEY PROMISED. THEY WERE ON TIME. THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE THERE IN THE MORNING, AND THEY WERE THERE. THEIR PRICING WAS A GOOD PRICE. IT WASN'T TO DIE FOR, BUT IT WAS FAIR.

I THINK THEY WERE TOO DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH AS FAR AS GETTING THE INSTALLATION DONE. OTHER THAN THAT THEY WERE OK. THEY GAVE ME A LIST OF INSTALLERS. YOU HAD TO FIND YOUR OWN AND GET THEM TO COME OUT AND EVERYTHING.

THE WORKERS WERE EXTREMELY CLEAN. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL TO ME BECAUSE THEY FINISHED WHEN PROMISED. THEY CLEANED UP VERY WELL. THEY WERE HERE FOR FOURTEEN HOURS IN ONE DAY SO THAT THEY FINISHED.
