I wanted to use a local, family-owned business, and based on their "A" rating on Angie's list (and senior discount), chose Central Florida Rod & Drapery.  Very glad I did.  Jane was a pleasure to work ... very professional, accommodating of my busy schedule, and just a nice person to work with.  I had honeycomb shades made for a set of French doors and the sidelight next to the front door.  She and Tom (the installer) also came up with an ingenious solution for light/heat control for the living room skylight.  They fabricated a wood frame to attach on the outside of the opening, with the fabric stretched over it.  Wasn't an easy install due to location (vaulted ceiling and partially over the stairway).  Tom  was always on time, professional and very pleasant.  Most importantly, the French door blinds were initially made with light blocking fabric rather than filtering.  I ordered corded shades but because of the unusual way the doors were installed, it was very difficult to raise/lower them once they were installed.  Jane immediately re-ordered new cordless blinds with the filtering fabric, no questions asked, and at no cost to me!  Within two weeks I had the replacements installed.  I love my blinds, and plan to use them again soon for the upstairs bedrooms.  Highly recommend this company.

They are vertical blinds covered in fabric so they are softer. When you open them you still see the outside. He also did some other treatments. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.
