Project went very well, I was kept informed during permit process and timing of when crews would be onsite, During the process changes came up and Debbie was very accommodating to ensure the dock would meet our expectations, Shannon the project manager stopped by frequently to check on progress and see if there were any concerns. Dock matched existing dock perfect, could not even tell it was an addition. Very happy with the whole project

Tropical marine was very professional, pricing spot on, communication fantastic and work done exactly the day they told us they were going to start and they’re workers were here at 7:00 am each day they worked. We have had such bad experiences with dock companies previously in the short time we have lived in the Cape and only wished we had known about Tropical Marine at the beginning. If you need anything done with your dock or have one built we would highly recommend Tropical Marine. We will be using them for any future work.

The entire job went perfectly! The work was done right on schedule, exactly as planned, and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! Tropical Marine is a professional crew that provided quality results and an absolute pleasure to work with. The staff and workers at Tropical Marine were outstanding! Dock and boat lift were delivered on time and at budget. Everyone was pleasant to work with and answered all my questions. Would definitely recommend Tropical Marine for any dock or boat lift projects. The only downside is payment is by cash/check...no credit cards accepted.

i have had the dock now for 7 months and its perfect i would highly recommend them, debbie at the office is great to deal with and is always pleasant to talk to . they are there to handle your needs , everything turned out perfect and i love my new dock.i had had several proposals and they were very competitive and gave the most bang for the buck.

I submitted a request for quote to five dock builders in the Cape Coral area. Three responded. Tropical Marine was significantly less expensive than the other two (well known) builders. I was a bit apprehensive, but based on positive reviews, selected them for the project which was to add a wrap-around extension to my existing dock and boat lift.
Tropical was easy to work with and were very responsive during the planning process, cheerfully accommodating all my design change requests until the plan was exactly what I wanted. The time window for the project was constrained to just a couple of weeks as I'm a snowbird and the work had to be done during one of my trips to the area. Tropical showed up on time and the work was completed in a timely and professional manner. There's no difference between Tropical's work and the existing dock, which was built by one of the better known builder. I wish I had known of Tropical when I had the original work done as I could have saved thousands of dollars.

Two gentlemen came out on time for the appointment adjusted the bunks on my exisiting boat lift. they were very professional and respectful and advised me on maintenace of my boat lift which I appreciated the education. I also worked with Debbie on a quote to modify my dock she too was very professional and informative as well as very nice. I have yet to act on the modifying of my dock but they are definitly one of the finalist when I do.

On 7/23/14 I received an e-mail with the estimate. Due to health issues I didn't get bck to them untl 7/29/14. At that time I asked if any of the coupons tht were listed on Angie's list could be used towards this job. When I didn't hear back we contracted with another party to get the job done. I then e-mailed them back 8/29/14 and stated that since we never heard from them again we had contracted another party. We still haven't heard from them. The e-mail were signed by a Debbie-office manager
They may be a good company but if they were too busy they should just say so.

It went well. Tropical Marine did the drawings, provided a quote, got the permit, called a couple of days before they started work. Showed up on time, did the install in a couple of days and did a nice job. They had good communication and fair pricing.

I had a great experience with Tropical Marine Construction. John and Debbie provided prompt service and addressed all my questions and concerns in a rapid fashion. The work was completed within 3 weeks from contract signing and initial deposit. I would certianly use them again and recommend them to my friends and family.

The lift was installed properly, but the Company chosen to supply the lift has since gone out of business and has had a horrible record of service. I have had ongoing problems with motors and have received no satisfaction from manufacturer. I don't believe it was Tropical's responsibility to repair, but I do believe they should have had more knowledge of who they were dealing with since evidently their reputation for service was poor from the start. The employees at the time were not very professional and they never finished the dock work I paid for.

"Please accept our most sincere apologies. Francis has not been affiliated with Tropical Marine Construction since Oct 2012. At Tropical Marine Construction we strive for the perfection of our products and services and the satisfaction of our customers. Upon hearing on May 3, 2013 the pile wrap was never done, we immediately completed that. In doing some research on the lift that was installed, the boat lift company has consolidated their plants and are now manufacturing in NC only. They still honor the warranty on their motors for 1 year against manufacturing defects."
