I could not have had a better experience. Run, do not walk to Tri County Small Engine Repair for any repair you may have...

These guys quote $130 on a handshake.
Upon pickup they wanted $200 cash.  
The common and simple 2 bolt Honda Carb was $44 and 1.5 HOURS OF LABOR!!!!
Unscrewing 2 bolts and screwing them back in with a new carb should take approximately 10 minutes at the most.
Attach the air cleaner maybe another under 10 minutes.
Attach the fuel line under 2 minutes.
Start it up to check it under 2 minutes.
They only wanted CASH and forced me to go out to an ATM and get cash for them.
If you use this business you're asking for trouble. They are liars and thieves.
I am doing everything I can to warn people to avoid this Rip Off business.

Tri County Small Engine Repair picked my generator up and brought it back after they repaired it. They did the repair within the time they promised.

He is a good and honest guy.

Jeff was very responsive and the repair was completed in one day. The generator engine would not start due to the carb. being clogged with old gas. Jeff was able to rebuild the carb. and winterize it so that I can just pour gas into it when I need it. His knowledge of small engines left me confident that I will not have any future issues and he explained how to keep this issue from occurring again.

It was fixed.

Jeff responded promptly to my call for service and arranged to be at his shop in the morning for me to bring in  the mower.  He promised to work on the mower promptly and expected to have it ready the next day.  We both agreed that the carburetor was the probable cause of the failure to start.  I left the mower with him and he had it ready by noon the next day.  I wasn't expecting the oil change and the clean-up but he did that at no additional charge.  The mower started with the first pull when I picked it up and it looked brand new.  I am completely satisfied with his service and he was very pleasant to deal with.

Service man was courteous and professional. He did a great job at a very reasonable price. Very satisfied.

Dave also gave me helpful hints in using the weed trimmer more effectively.

My experience with Jeff and his small engine business was nothing but positive.  He and his techs absolutely knew what they were doing, treated me with respect, and got my little job done in a very timely and professional manor. 
I am completely satisfied with the job they did, and so thankful for Angies List which led me to him.  I would definitely recommend his service to anyone.

I had called Jeff and arranged to bring the generator to his location. He and his associate greeted me and immediately surveyed the condition of the generator. Jeff gave me an estimate for the cost and when it would be ready.
Jeff was professional; he explained what was done and gave me some suggestions regarding proper care. I'm pleased and will recommend Tri County!

Jeff picked up my pressure washer and hour after I called. He called me back within 2 hrs to tell me what was wrong. However he indicated that the cost to repair it may not be justified.
He asked if he could hold onto the unit for a few days to see if he could figure a cheaper way.  He called back a few days later with it repaired indicating that another unit came in that he could scavenge parts from. He tested my new parts and installed it and delivered to my door for a reasonable price.
I also asked him if he knew of a good bicycle shop for repairs. He took my bike to his job and worked on it for free.
I would definitely recommend him

VERY GOOD

We had a Generator that needed an overhaul ... (it wouldn't start). Jeff accessed the problem and completely cleaned the carborator and flushed out all the tubes and all the old gas was removed ... for a small fee he "winterized" it as well. We also had him clean/condition our lawn mower and had him sharpen the blades ... Mower is as GOOD as NEW ;-) ...Definate "Thumbs Up" from us!

They said it would take two days, but it was ready on one day.

. .They did come and get it and I guess they had a tine of it. Harbor freight did not support them as far as parts were concerned. Jeff made the most of it though. He did more that expected and on budget, just what he quoted me. That is rare now days. I will rermember these guys.

My mother's lawnmower hadn't been running for a month and neither I nor she could even get it to start. After looking over my options on Angie's List I found the guys at Tri County Repairs. They were really nice on the phone and offered pick up and delivery for a seriously LOW flat rate. They even offered to pick it up same day and showed up on time! After listening to what I was having trouble with the repairman took a look and with a little on site tweak he got it running! He didn't charge me for coming out since it wasn't really broken, I am so happy that I called these guys.

They fixed it and had it ready in just a few days.  I cost more than I expected but they let me know the price up front.

Being new to the area I didn't know who to go to except Angie's List now I know

It went very well we talked about how much I was willing to spend and I left the machine with them. After only 3 hours they called and said the machine just had a clogged carburetor and a dirty fuel filter. So for an hour labor charge and the price of a filter I was back in business. They also replaced the fuel lines.
  Very easy no confusion or surprises.
