Top line tint and audio

I brought an 8” powered sub along with the appropriate amp wiring kit and a 2-channel line out converter. I asked to have the sub installed under my seat because that is the manufacturer’s recommendation. They installed it in my trunk so I cannot fully appreciate the audio. The manufacturer also recommends the use of a line out converter for optimum performance, which I provided to the installer. Without asking me, they skipped this install and then told me that they did not install it because “it wasn’t necessary”. Even if this is true, the appropriate thing to do is to speak to your customer before deciding what to install on your vehicle. After all, I am the one paying for the install. To make things even worse, the shop kept $30 worth of brand new RCA cables that they were supposed to use for the install of the LOC that they chose to not install. I called the shop to ask for these cables back since I could at least return them and get my money back and instead what I got was an insult. The guy told me that I have no right to tell him what to do, even though all I asked was for him to please take a look in the shop since I was the last customer of the night and the cables should be fairly easy to spot. He then told me “this is not that kind of place” and that “they throw away all equipment they don’t use during the install”. The conversation of course got heated after that and he then proceeded to insult me for having and accent, literally told me that I don’t “capich” what he was saying. I can go on but I think that about sums it up. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my entire lifetime. My advice to others, go somewhere else!
