A weekend emergency at my home (no hot water) found me on the phone for 2 hours calling various plumbers only to find that because of it being a Saturday, I would have to wait till Monday to get my hot water heater replaced.  Out of desperation, I called Roto-Rooter, thinking that they were only a drain cleaning company and would not be able to help.  But I was desperate and figured anything was worth a try.   I thought they would refer me to a plumber that could help.  Not only did I find out that they were a full service plumber, but also that they could have someone to my home within 2 hours.... WOW!!   The technician, named Jessie,  arrived and was extremely professional and informative. He gave me options and helped me decide that best route to take to save me money. I was able to supply the new hot water heater from Home Depot.   The job was completed in about 1 & 1/2 hour.  He also gave me a guarantee.   I have now decided to use Roto Rooter whenever I have a plumbing need.  Thank you again Roto Rooter, for being there when I needed you.

I wasn't thrilled there, because of the add-on fees. At least they have their own chemicals now, that keep the drains clean. They have a new drain cleaner out that's not as abrasive as other consumer based products. They only had 3/4 of jug with them and they said that they would drop-off the other two jugs which, they never did. They run 24/7, so for me it's not that big of an issue. I called them a couple of times, and finally gave up. I would use them again. If I have something leaking all over the floor, they are who I call. They are here when they say are going to be. I will use them again in an emergency.

Tony found the problem right away and resolved the problem quickly. He came inside my daughters house to check the operation of both toilets and called me when he was finished to say all was working fine. My daughter informed me that he was very nice and conducted himself very professionally.

RR came when they said. It was a weekend (Sunday) service at no extra cost. Fast and knowledgeable. GREAT COMPANY don't know why I even considered anyone else.

Terrible experience. I called rotor rooter from Angie's list because I thought they would be the best.
The man who answered the phone gave me a big speil assuring me the job would end with a video viewing through my pipes.
I scheduled an appointment.
The plumber never showed. I called back and waited another 3 hours before he arrived.
When he began unclogging my sink he said, he could not do the video because he would have to get on the roof.
He said "the man that answered the phone was the owner and doesn't know what he is talking about".

I was very dissappointed.
He also told me not to put any food into $125. garbage disposal.
I find that odd.

Additional costs were incurred correcting what Roto-Rooter left either broken or unfinished in their visits.  They were reported to the Better Business Bureau but refused to accept any responsibility or remediate their faulty workmanship.  They did not even respond to the last request from the BBB.

I had noticed that the drains were slow that day and while taking a shower my drain clogged up completely.  I had company coming in and needed a fast response.  I called Roto Rooter and they were there in an hour.  He checked all the drains first and then checked the outside access to the septic tank.  It was clogged and he talked with me and gave me a price.  It was a little high for me ($265.00)  and he came down to $200.00.  He was very nice and did the job.  All the time he was in the house he wore shoe covers and did not track anything in.  After clearing the clog he checked each drain and toilet to make sure all were working properly.

I had tried to clear it and couldn't get it cleared so I called and they said they would send someone the next morning. I got it cleared but I had them come out to take a look and put the snake down the toilet. He said that the sewer line appeared to need to be cleaned. He also found that two pieces of pipe weren't properly put together 14 years ago. He indicated that it was a problem waiting to happen. I agreed that he could dig that section of pipe out and repair it. He left and came back with a huge piece of equipment on a trailer. It was a big thing. He cleared that out and cleaned out the sewer line with a power thing. He quoted me a price that was originally $200 and now was $1,200. I don't know if it was necessary to have the pipes replaced. I hadn't had a problem. Since he did the power cleaning, I noticed that my drains are not draining as well as they were. I wonder if some of the sludge was now forced into other areas. The cleaning was very loud and it took him a long time because he had to go get the equipment because he didn't own it. He was very nice and explained everything. He did a clean job. He was clean and polite. He had to dig quite a bit and he put the shrubbery back.

They did a good job, and gave me information on how to stop it from happening again.

 I would highly recommend this Roto-Rooter to anyone in the Cape Coral or Ft Myers area.

We had a water leak in our front yard that we were unable to find and fix on Sunday, 4/17.  On Monday morning we called Roto-Rooter.  Their technician, Mick, came out around noon and made the repair.  The broken pipe was under a cluster of palms.  Mick rerouted the line around the trees and solved the problem.  He was professional and very nice.  He charged the estimated amount and allowed an Angies list discount in the amount advertised.

I wasnt very happy with their service. They mentioned that its a flat fee and he was only here for ten minutes so I spent 171 dollars for ten minutes of work. He showed up at five so I had no other choice but to use him. I asked them how much they charged per hour and she said he will give once he arrives. Come to find out they give a one time flat fee of 171. On Saturday, February 12th, my toilet was clogged again. My shower was also stopped up. I called Roto Rooter back regarding the clog. They said they would charge me another $271.95 to come and use a camera and re-snake the toilet and the shower. She did eventually offer a $50 over the phone, but I refused to pay that much since they should have fixed it the first time. I used another plumber to clean the drain.

I was very impressed with the service. Jesse showed me exactly what he was doing and talked me through the process. He gave me an accurate quote prior to starting on any tasks. I was very impressed with how efficiently he worked. I would definitely call Roto Rooter again.

The plumber was very professional, he showed me on a camera where the line was clogged. He also gave me an estimate to fix the outside line that is crushed by tree roots.

I?ve requested an invoice but I haven?t gotten it yet so I?m trying to go back through my notes to get their number. It ended up being more than he thought it would be because he ended up having to go through the roof. He wouldn?t guarantee it or anything so I don?t know for sure if they got it all. I feel like I don?t know exactly what he did. They got out there right away; I think they were able to get out there the same day or the next morning.

They did a marvelous job! It was efficient, quick and cleaned up very well. The technician was very professional.

He explained the problem and gave a quote. He then completed the job quickly. After he was finished, he showed me the improvement to the drainage system. We has a $15.00 coupon which was honored and was given a 6 month warranty, as well as a suggestion for what might need to be done next if this problem persists.
