Ultimately well, but the crew left one area, clearly identified in the proposal, untouched. A good rain immediately after their departure confirmed that. Many communication and scheduling delays over the following five weeks including a second visit by the estimator - and, admittedly, many partial rain days - then, finally, the same crew completed the job well.

So far so good. It has been about 1 1/2 months since the repair and although we have not had very much rain, what did we did have, there were no leaks. The repair men showed up on schedule and were professional and courteous. Their price was competitive and I am satisfied with their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of roof work

It went great. Dave from Roman Roofing handled the whole process for us from start to finish, so that we did not have to return to town. I should also mention that they were also the lowest bidder.

It went very well. I met the guys at a home show and gave them my name and contact info as I was getting bids. Show was on a Friday, received a call from Allen on Monday. Was a bad time for both of us, and we agreed to catch up in a few weeks. We continued to get bids and had decided on a different contractor. Bids ranged from just over $13k down to $10k. We had decided on one for $11k. At the same time, we found a home in our area which we liked the shingle color. My wife stopped and asked who did their roof, were they happy, and could they tell us the shingle color. Was given the name Roman Roofing and they were happy. Couldn't remember the color. So, she contacted Roman, gave them the street the house was on, they took the time to look up the color for us. She called me to say they were very nice and we should get a bid from them. I had completely forgotten about them. Called their office and within a few minutes, Allen was on the phone. It came up in my caller ID as "Roman Roofing Guy", yet I didn't remember them. He came that day and measured. The next day he sat down with us to go over things. After a day or two, we made the decision to go with them. Turned out their price was the lowest at just under $10k, but it wasn't entirely about the price. We just felt a comfort with him. We signed a purchase agreement expecting a 2-4 week wait. I called the following Monday cause I needed to coordinate removing pool solar panels and needed to know the timing. He said they would be there on Thursday to start and, depending upon county inspection timing, would remove existing and get it dried in that day and call for the dried in inspection. Further, they would probably be out on Friday to start the new shingles, once again, depending on inspections. Thursday, a crew of 9 showed up. By late afternoon, they had the roof dried in, not too long before a rain storm. Friday a crew of 4 showed up after the inspector and by the end of Friday we had a nearly completed roof. All that remained was a handful of ridge vent shingles. The guys told us they would be back on Monday to finish (supply house wasn't open Saturday). Monday morning 3 guys showed up and finished the job. Things that influenced our decision: 1 - naturally, price; 2 - the guy my wife spoke with in the office. Had that gone differently, We probably would have gone with the other company; 3 - Allen; 4 - no money was asked for up front. That meant a lot to us. Terms were 1/2 at dried in, and half due at completion. Allen was here a couple hours ago to pick up the balance we owed. 5 - warranty. They offered a 10 year warranty for labor. I'm smart enough to understand the warranty is only good if they are still in business in 8 or 10 years, but if they keep doing things the way they did for us, I don't see it will be a problem. The price had gone up by about $300 due to some of the roof decking needing replaced. Something else that made sense to us was that they included the first two sheets of plywood. The other bids we got simply gave a per sheet price to replace. Had we chosen a different contractor, it would have gone up by more than the $300. The shingle is an Owens Corning. Color is Summer Harvest. We have been very pleased with the whole experience. Based upon our experience, I would defenately recommend them.

They did a fantastic job.

Proved that the problem was not a roof leak. Evaluated the overall condition of the roof and flashings while caulking the vent stacks. Discussed the metal roof condition including the oxidation of the finish recommending a cleaning to maintain the finish.

Roman Roofing was very professional. They completed the work in less than 3 days and cleaned up well. Their Marketing Manager was very cooperative and also found a few ways we could receive discounts. We got 2 other roofers rated A, but Roman's was the lowest price and did an excellent job. Would recommend them.

Never got a price, lots of talk but no action.

We had an excellent experience with Roman Roofing. Dave responded quickly to my request for service and set up a timely appointment for the repairs. Chris who did the work was very diligent, he barely took a break. He went above and beyond in his repairs.

The job went to schedule, I was very happy.

Repaired a leak in my roof. A leak that the builder supposedly fixed before. They also sealed the ridge vent nails at no extra charge.

High Price

Roman Roofing hat die Arbeit sehr gut und sauber erledigt. Die Arbeiter blieben an der Baustelle bis die Arbeit erledigt war. Schon nach Beendigung der 1. Teilarbeit, Abtragen der alten Schindeln, wurde die Baustelle tadellos verlassen. Zusätzlich eingebrachte Wünsche unsererseits wurden berücksichtigt. Mehrkosten wurden nicht verlangt. Der Kontakt mit Roman Roofing war stets angenehm.

Good Company. instead of finding expensive solutions, they were honest and told me a cheaper ways to fix a roof/stain problem :-)
