Chris is fantastic! He is always friendly, professional, and great at performing the scheduled tasks. He tells me what he did and why, such as maintaining salt levels. My pool is well maintained thanks to Chris's efforts. And he is great with my dog, who waits by the door to see his buddy.

I switched to Pool Doctor for weekly cleaning of our pool after hiring them to replace our pump. I've been very happy with their service, Our tech, Chris is reliable, thorough and friendly to boot

Instead of thermostat they ran all kinds of unprotected wires and called it a temperature sensor

Sold an overpriced pump lid and other parts with no estimate provided before installation. I rejected the price and had one part removed. The others could not be removed because they had tossed out originals. Turns out I only needed a very inexpensive seal. Customer service manager was very rude and unprofessional. Service tech was very nice and apologetic. Management is the problem with this company.

We had a pool tech for the last three years. I was told he retired (he wasn't old enough) After he left my pool turned green. This hasn't happened in the last three years Pool Doctor wanted to charge us another $35 extra to take care of our pool We got another service the next day.

First the negatives- It took a couple of days to get an appointment, and the technician initially misdiagnosed the problem. He quickly determined that the solar heater had malfunctioned, creating super-heated water. He replaced the temperature sensor for $328, after which the chlorinator still did not work. That said, the rest of the experience was positive. He came back the same day I called (2 days after the initial visit) and determined that the hot water had destroyed the chlorinator. He quoted approx $700 for the repair, but would give us credit for the previous visit and repair. He then decided to call the equipment vendor and talked them into honoring the warrantee, which had expired a very short time previously. He charged me only one trip visit and refunded the price of the temperature sensor he had installed on the first visit. Our pool was soon crystal clear!

I hired these guys to maintain my pool last August. I was not on site. In September they added a pool timer to the water supply so that they could leave the water on for 30 minutes to top off the pool. In November I received a water bill from the City in the amount of $1400. Apparently the pool timer these Moron's installed, failed, and even though they come out once week to service the pool, failed to notice the water was still on. Yes, the water was ON for 2 weeks. Pool Doctor failed to remedy the situation and claimed no warranties on pool timers they sell. In December they noticed the existing timer was not working (no, duh, huh ?) and replaced the pool timer. I am considering a court case, but in the meantime, I wanted to let the Angie's List world know how poor a company this is.

The service was completed by one person, It took about an hour, hour and a half. They got the thing working again.

We had a leak in the pipe coming from the pool right before Christmas weekend. Pool Doctors called us back and scheduled a time to repair it prior to the weekend rather than after the weekend because they knew we had guests over. Tommy did a fantastic job of communicating with us the status of the repair. He was friendly and polite......thank you Tommy and Pool Doctors!

Pool Doctors technician 'Tommy' is excellent and is maintaining my pool to a very high standard. Unlike a lot of other companies he takes the time to ensure that as a customer I am aware of what is being done and what further treatment will be required. Tommy is a credit to the company!
