Run away from this company as fast as you can, customer service is HORRIBLE. Never respond to call in requests/ voice mails. You will wait forever 😎.

Called on a Monday, scheduled for Wednesday. Got stood up every work day through the following Tuesday.

Loving my new pool..Adam and John Bechdel (Owners) helped me with the design and oversaw the project till the end. Even though I’ve known the family for 20+ years, I shopped other companies and found theirs to be very reasonable, and very creative!! I use them now for my pool maintenance company as well Beyond Satisfied!!

It went extremely well from start to finish and beyond. Penguin is not the cheapest... but we are convinced they are the BEST! Great design, professional work at all phases. They delivered on time and on price quote. We could not be more pleased with our pool!

Received the quote fairly prompt.  Visited their business within a few days of quote to see samples as well as obtain a revised quote w/o the spa and a travertine deck using material from a vendor who had material that we liked.  Did a rough quote that was supposed to be followed up by a formal one within a few days.  Never received the quote.  Followed up once with original salesperson w/o a reply.  Vendor dropped from consideration.

Being rookies we had many questions which were patiently answered, guidance was given, but not pushy.  We decided on ozone, & a custom shape to give us the most pool [12,500 gallons] for limitations due to our backyard slope issues and basin canal view. Work permits started in January. As typical for construction, some things moved quickly and some slower.  We were out of town a couple times which did slow some of work. I did rake, clean up & water after heavy construction trucks drove over front yard to keep lawn from too much damage as sprinklers were stopped during construction. We didn?t expect the soil dug for the pool to be kept on our limited property space, but when work was complete it was graded nicely.   Work was completed by first part of May. They always answered questions or concerns from start to finish - & still do. The work ethics of guys on the crew, especially those employed by Penguin - from stucco, tile to pool water testing was greatly appreciated.  If corrections were needed, they were fixed as requested.  Upon completion - they also seemed pleased by the unique design. Our family is enjoying the pool, maintenance is easy, & seems to use a minimum amount of chemicals.

Penguin Pools built our pool and spa about 9 years ago, and we were very happy with them.  Everyone was so nice, responsive when we had questions or concerns, and when we had a lightning strike several years later, came out right away to look at everything, get it up and running again, and helped us with the warranties and insurance claims.  They've been excellent, and we still love our pool!

They did an excellent job. They just got a better price. They came in way less money for the repair. The people were just really friendly and very nice. They were almost perfectionist.

After having Penguin pave our lanai area and install new paved walkways, we loved the look so much, we decided to do our circular driveway. Once again, the work was done with expertise and looks beautiful. We have gotten compliments from everyone from our neighbors to the UPS delivery man saying how great it looks. What a difference this has made in the look of our property! Again, we worked with Adam from Penguin who always answers all our questions, oversees the job and makes sure everything is done to our satisfaction. We would highly recommend Penguin to anyone looking for a quality job!

Excellent job!!! Looks beautiful and now we can open the front door and enjoy the breeze. Putting a new walk in the back made our dock area easily accessible. Once again, working with Adam from Penguin was a great experience and we love the new look.

We love working with Penguin Pools. It is a family-run business and we worked mainly with the son, Adam. Adam is extremely knowledgeable about all the pool equipment and latest technology. He helped us out again and again to make good decisions about what would work best for us. This company did an incredible job and the repaved and lanai area looks great. We would highly recommend them!

After Penguin Pools has been maintaining our pool for two months, we thought it was time to submit this review.
Their technician, Chris, is here every Tuesday morning. He checks chemicals, brushes the pool sides and coping and removes anything accumulated on the pool bottom. Our pool always looks fabulous!
We should also note that, although Penguin Pools did not install our pool, we called them when we had issues with our pump and salt system. they dispatched a technician who quickly identified our problems and fixed them in less than an hour. Their professionalism and responsiveness prompted us to use their services to maintain our pool.
We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who wants their pool to be in pristine condition...all the time!

Met with owner, Glenn, in December 2012. Very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Glenn stated that it usually took 6 to 10 weeks to complete project and be swimming. Project was started by digging hole for foundation on January 11, 2013. Foundation was poured on January 15th, plumbing was done January 29th, Footings for the pool cage were poured on Feb 21st. That is when it was discovered that pool elevation was wrong. Pool was dug and poured 4 inches too low. Error was fixed March 19th. After numerous calls to Project Manager and promises that never were kept, made trip to main office to talk to Glenn (owner) and finally project was given priority and work was being done most every day. Glenn did include some decorative tiles (turtles) in the pool at no additonal cost because of all the issues. Project Manager did manage to come by site each time payment was due to collect check and leave with more empty promises. Todate ( April 25th, 2013) there is still one issue that needs to be resolved on the handrail for the pool. I tried to get Project Manager to see that alot of the issues could have been avoided by communication with us. He said in this business it just is not possible to keep people informed when someone would be by to work on project. Said we did not need to be here when they were working so did not need to let us know............This project took 14 weeks and alot of headaches and stress. Pool is beautiful and we are enjoying every day.

I called them twice to try to talk with someone about coming out to give us a price on pool upgrades. Both times I was told someone would call back to talk with me. They never called. That was enough experience to know we did not want to work with them.

They are excellent. We spent probably around $34000 for the pool, the landscaping, and the paver work. There was nothing that they could have done better, everything they did was great. The sub-contractors they used were super and very efficient. We would give them an A in everything.

See above description. Phone response was courteous but outrageously high estimated cost.

Completed job with in 6 weeks from start to finish. Company was great to work with- very friendly, paid attention to detail, excellent tile and paver work.
