We purchased our home originally in 2009 using Shawn to help us find a new home after he came highly recommended. He worked hard to find us the best home available in the area at a great price. He spent a day with us to help us narrow down our choices. At the time last year that we bedded to relocate I could not think of a better agent to help us with the sale. We listed our home the end of November and accepted an offer three weeks later for our asking price. I believe that due to the fact that Shawn works with multiple cities/ counties this helped to get our listing out there. Friends bought a home in Cape Coral and referred us to their real estate agent, Capt Shawn O'Brien.  We initially decided to "go it alone" and started driving around the area looking at possible retirement homes.  After one day, we realized we needed help and called Shawn.  We had no previous contact with him and no appt, but he arranged his schedule to meet with us that very afternoon and actually showed us 6-7 homes on this short notice.  We arranged to meet with him on our next trip to FL in April 2012 and he accommodated our traveling schedule to show us an additional 20-30 homes. We chose one and he was relentless in working with us beginning to end.  We closed on a house the end of May 2012. Shawn's customer service did not end there.  He clued us in on local contractors, physically led us to where we set up utilities, and searched Angie's List for us to find a locksmith and other services we requested.  Shawn has maintained email and phone contact ever since to ensure that everything is going smoothly.  He has been INVALUABLE to us!!

Shawn helped us buy a house in Cape Coral. He worked with us for several months and never hurried us into any particular property or sale.  He is the consummate professional,  and I quickly learned I could trust his advice completely.  He helped us buy the right house at the right price.  His vast knowledge of the Cape Coral area and his understanding of our specific house and boat dock needs were invaluable.  We looked at several properties online before we called Shawn and my only regret is that I didn't call him sooner in the house hunting process.  He saved us time and energy and kept us focused on the fine points of Florida real estate.
