Landscape Pros Of SWFL

It went badly. The original quote was for $7200. But after the work was completed, we received a bill for $12,000. It turned out the owner Jimmy had to substitute several plants. He also had not estimated how much actual lava rock he would need. Without informing us ahead of time, he put the rock in, then told us about the cost overruns. After that, we had him return to fix broken sprinkler heads, put in a down spout he promised, and other tasks. We also informed him his workers had deleted our sprinkler program, something he insisted they didn't do. Jimmy also promised to come back to handle some problems with the plants his workers had installed. I had to call him repeatedly just to get him to return for one visit. He didn't complete most of the tasks he promised to do with the problem plants, then stopped coming at all. Eventually, we hired LJ Decorating Landscape Corp to fix/finish the landscape work at an additional cost of $1000. They were very professional and completed the work. We have received a number of positive comments including from folks who we didn't know but wanted to know who did the landscape work. Under no circumstances can we recommend Landscape Pros to anyone.

Landscaping was OK. Looks fine but not worth what we paid considering he used the existing landscaping and only added to it.
The real problem was when he moved the trees. My neighbors on both sides and back could not BELIEVE what they were witnessing! The large tree was dug out partly with a sledge hammer to  jar the root loose. The tree FELL OVER 3 TIMES during the planting process because hole was not deep enough---(They were in too much of a hurry to get done so they could leave because it was the end of the day) . They never bothered to stake the tree up once they did finally get it planted. It FELL OVER within 1/2 hour of them leaving for the day. Left message but did not return the call. However he did return the next day and staked the tree.
The second tree went more smoothly during transplanting, however it started to LEAN after a week. Sydney  took the message but we haven't heard from the since!! We called them ABOUT IT ON 4 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. THEY HAVE NEVER RETURNED ANY OF OUR CALLS!  Can only get voicemail any time we have called but HAVE LEFT 4 MESSAGES over the course of 2-4 weeks and they have I GNORED ALL of them. After giving up with them we then tried to stake  up the tree ourselves but because we don't have the expertise the ropes kept sliding down and the tree fell to a deeper slant. We called them again and left another message that the tree was going to die and we needed them desperately. They STILL have not returned the call after 2 days of trying. We will need to HIRE a  THIRD PARTY to FINISH what they started.

I HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIANCE WITH THEM FROM THE VERY START OF THIER WORK.

He did a great job. I was happy with the work that was done. I will continue to you him in the future.
