ISLAND HARBOR CONSTRUCTION

When you walked in everything looked good, it wasn't until we moved in that we found the many mistakes Island Harbor, especially Linda Davis made.  First and foremost she chose handle for our cabinets after we told her not to put any, that we wanted to select them after we moved in.  Now we are stuck with the holes she decided to make in our cabinets for handle we do not want. The closets weren't installed incorrectly and they started collapsing one after another until we had to empty them completely.  The laundry room sink faucet shot water over the edge of the basin onto the floor and when I pointed it out I was told ' you picked the faucet' .  The master bathroom mirrors cannot be centered because the outlets were obviously in the way, but they couldn't be bother to move them.  Speakers were missing from our surround sound leaving a hole in the ceiling but no wires, not only were two different size back splashes installed in the kitchen, Linda allowed granite that had two giant chips mashed together with glue to be installed in the island counter.  She cleaned off the glue but claims she never saw the chips....please.   The front door was either damaged or installed incorrectly and we have a gap at the top of the door, so it will not seal.  The well pipe has had to be fixed twice for leaks, ten tiles in the middle of the great room floor were loose and needed to be removed and reset.  We are waiting for the next thing to go wrong and his word and warranty mean nothing.  He sent someone to fix the closets then didn't pay them.  We received a notice stating that if he didn't pay we face a lien being put on our home.    She calls herself an interior decorator but in our house she was an over paid installer and she couldn't even do that right.  They have an excuse for everything and take responsibility for nothing. Our advise is to run, run fast and far these people are nothing but trouble.

They did quite a bit of work.  It went very well.  I was really very pleased with them.
