Home Depot does NOT give military discounts. Lowes does. Guess where I shop!

BEWARE OF SALES TACTICS- Salesman came to my home, looked into my attic, told me the job to install insulation would take at least one full day and most likely 1 and 1/2 days. This was because my old insulation was installed too close to the edge of my roof and they would have to install extra venting prior to blowing in the new additional insulation I was buying. He seemed very professional and know what he was talking about. His quote was $1,600. I got another quote from a local company that has been around town for many years. Their quote was $800, but they did not seem to think I had a vent issue, and I was told the job would be done in 1/2 day. I assumed they did not know what they were talking about, and was willing to pay more to Home Depot to do the job right, so I went with them. They showed up on the install day and the sub-contractor completed my entire house in 2 and 1/2 hours! I was very surprised and assumed they had not done what was necessary. I called the District Sales Manager, who came out to my house and inspected my attic. Told me the job was done correctly, did not know why I was told over one day for job, said he would take it up with the salesman. There was no offer to resolve any issue over the misrepresentation. Beware that Home Depot does not do any work, it is all done by sub-contractors, which I probably could have hired myself to begin with, the sub did a good job, no complaints with them. I feel like I was set up by the salesman. Do NOT use these people, you can do much better elsewhere.

Excellent installation and cleanup.  Timely arrival and when they left.  Very pleasant attitudes.  They got to work as soon as they arrived.  Only negative was the website scheduling the appointment; they didn't read it often enough.

Went well. They were informative.

It was good. I am very satisfied.

Home Depot's manager gave me the impression that he didn't want to be bought and he can't be bothered with that stuff. It's a nice store but I don't like the way I was treated at one time.

We were very pleased with our entire experience. Once we signed a contract, we were kept updated on when the project would start through email correspondence. We were told to expect a 2 month wait while our windows were manufactured, but the job was completed in 3 weeks. The workers were polite, respectful and did a very nice job. There were a few minor issues when it was finished, but they were promptly taken care of in a very professional manner. I highly recommend them.

I really liked the people that they hired to do the work. They were very helpful. I would rate them highly. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

If anything goes wrong with the equipment Home Dept will not back you up. The washer and dryer that I bought ended up rusting out on the top and this was unusual because the rust was in a place that water does not touch. I then tried to contact manufacturer and they said they weren't going to do anything for me. In other words Home Depot did nothing to help me. I tried to contact them numerous times and nothing came from it. I ended up closing my account and will not do business with them again.

My overall experience was fine. They called back right away. They were professional. I would use them in the future.

It was excellent. The quality and workmanship were excellent.
