GREEN SMART SOLUTIONS

It is an old A/C system, thought I was going to be out a lot of money. Turns out to be a start capacitor. The old compressor needed a "hard" start capacitor. An oem replacement was tried but did not work. The "hard" start saved the system and my wallet. Green Smart was very responsive, fixed what needed repair. Extremely courteous. Will definitely call when the old system finally dies.

We have a long history with Gary.  To begin with, he was the warranty repair person for our pool heater, replacing even a motor hit during a lightning strike summer of 2000.  Since then we've dealt with him for yearly maintenance of both our air-conditioning and pool heater.  In 2005, when we needed a new air-conditioner, Gary saw to that, originally trying to keep our old unit going as long as possible...until we couldn't stand the noise any longer.  I maintain, regarding our pool heater, that it's his maintenance and my NEVER turning off the pool heater, allowing it to run as needed, that has allowed the pool heater to function as long as it has.  This time around it was about six weeks from my first contacting Gary until the part was replaced, but, to his credit, he did come over after my original call the end of July, found the problem and determined the part needed and ordered it.  The reason for the delay was Gary's feeling that, given a choice between a pool heater repair in the summer and someone needing assistance with an air-conditioner, in our warm climate, the air-conditioner takes preference.  Now we're back to running and I couldn't be happier.  Gary is very thorough and conscientious; I feel what he services just runs all the longer because of his expertise.
