"As we appreciate the high marks for Professionalism, Punctuality, and the A for responsiveness, we consider any overall grade under an A a disappointment. As Mr. [Member Name Removed] stated, I did follow up with him immediately, and he informed me he felt he didn't get his free lb of R22. Because the free lb was not stated on our invoice, we promptly refunded the payment. In reference to the incomplete service, he told me he felt we didn't calibrate his t-stat. The new electric t-stat's calibration is checking its function, which Mr. [Member Name Removed] confirmed with me is running with no problems, as they do not require the same attention as the old mercury style. He also left out that we did drain line repairs, reworking his problematic drain line to flow effectively as it had never before, at no add'l cost. Our refrigerant is not over-priced for our market place, and we make sure of this regularly. Comparing our refrigerant prices to any other quality service company will verify this, as refrigerant retail and wholesale costs are as high as they've ever been. This negative grade on price is based on Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s opinion, which is veritably inaccurate. Our customers can call us any time of any day, before OR after they give us their business, and we will be more than happy not only to fully educate them on any subject, but also cite our sources of information."
"Thank you [Member Name Removed]! We'd be thrilled to provide service again for you in the future"
"Thank you for your compliments!"
"Thank you for the positive ratings and grades Mr. [Member Name Removed]!"
"The timeline, including the omitted details, for Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s events, are as follows: We performed a Saturday system install on April 23, 2016. We had even provided Mr. [Member Name Removed] with a portable a/c at no charge so he wasn't left without air overnight. On Nov. 22, 2016, seven months after install, his breaker failed. This breaker was pre-existing, it was not changed out by our installers because its size was sufficient. We ran a same-day late night emergency service call (with no trip charge & no diagnostic charge) and identified the faulty breaker. We even temporarily relocated another appliance breaker to get Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s a/c up & running. The so-called "exorbitantly priced fuse" is a 60 amp 2-pole stablock breaker. (We have provided the size and name brand because we urge anyone reading this review to look up the cost of said breaker, they are not inexpensive.) Mr. [Member Name Removed] then signed our work order authorizing us to order the breaker, which was extremely fair priced. When we returned to do the repair, Mr. [Member Name Removed] stopped our technician and stated he'll fix it himself. He then informed us that he's a scientist, so he's more than capable of fixing an air conditioner. Of course, performing high voltage repairs by a non-licensed individual is a liability waiting to happen, and our position as a responsible service company was to remove ourself from this situation. We find it appalling that after everything we've done for Mr. [Member Name Removed] he refers to us as "unresponsive and least caring." Our company over-extended ourselves with him in every interaction we had. And if he wonders why Angies List still deals with us, one need look no further than our numerous and consistent high ratings and positive reviews shared by Angies Lists members, and non-members alike."
"As Mr. [Member Name Removed] stated, he joined our company due to our Angie's List rating. We have a consistent record of positive ratings and reviews in all major categories, including Price, Quality, Responsiveness, Professionalism, and Punctuality. Mr [Member Name Removed] did sign up 15 properties with us, and to say that a majority of these systems were dilapidated would be stating it gently. We have numerous pictures on file which solidly prove that Mr. [Member Name Removed] has been having handy-men and unlicensed contractors work on his properties for years. According to Mr. [Member Name Removed], the fact that his air conditioners all had a slew of problems which we inherited when we started servicing the properties is our fault. He would rather us not mention the disintegrating duct-work, and the clogged evaporator coils, and the failing components, and the many problems that occur from a complete lack of proper maintenance. Regarding this specific service visit Mr. [Member Name Removed] is referring to, our work order stated that the air conditioner needed a new drain line, which he refused. When we returned two days later, Mr. [Member Name Removed] had ran the new drain line himself. Apparently, his complaint is that we would not do this for free. Like any responsible service provider, our company refuses to give a clean bill of health to a problematic air conditioner. There are service driven companies, and there are service driven landlords. Contrary to Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s statement, we are indeed a service driven company, and we work well with service driven landlords."
