They do really good work. My husband takes my car to the shop. He did not do two things. He was supposed to scrape my old Texas inspection sticker and license plate stickers off my windshield. It was like they worked on it for a while and then decided they did not want to do it anymore. Then they were supposed to fix the oil pressure light to where it did not come on until I actually needed oil. They did not do that. But I guarantee you they made my husband's air conditioner work. I am just talking about my Buick. He does a good job. That was just a little technicality that I found a little irritating as far as my car was concerned.
I used George's Complete Auto several times and have been satisfied with the overall service they deliver. However, for this specific visit, the service we received rates an "F".
I had scheduled an appointment for an oil and filter change for a Saturday morning two weeks before the date of service. We checked the car in for the service appointment and was told it would take an hour to complete. We walked over to the local Starbucks to pass the time. After an hour and half without hearing back from George's, We walked back over to find that my car had not moved. I checked in and was told that it was not done and that I still had one other party still ahead of me! At that point, I cancelled the "appointment" and left because we had other appointments that day for which we had allowed more than sufficient time to complete the service work.
George's is always busy as they have, in the past, delivered the service I expect. However, what is the point of scheduling an appointment if this is how appointment's are managed?? Our time is worth as much as their time and this turned out to be a total disappointment that could have been much better managed than it was.
At this point, I'm probably going to move my business over to JR's Auto Clinic who is and has been as good as George's. The only reason I haven't used them more is because George's is closer to my house and has done a great job in the past. Very frustrated. They really fell short this time!!
UPDATE ON MY EARLIER REVIEW:
We can only sayWOW and how George and his team have stepped up to address the issue we had with service quality!!! A staff member on George's team picked up the car at my wife's work place, took it back to their shop and completed the oil and filter change on the car. They not only delivered it about an hour later, but left a car for her in case she needed transportation. They also replaced the front wiper blades as an additional accommodation and have given us another oil and filter change service at their cost. The response George and his team delivered here greatly exceeded our expectations.
THIS IS THE KIND OF PEOPLE I HAVE ALWAYS LOOKED FOR TO OUR BUSINESS WITH! IF THERE IS ANYONE LOOKING FOR AN HONEST, REPUTABLE AND RELIABLE AUTO SERVICE AND REPAIR SHOP, YOU CAN STOP LOOKING AND JUST GO TO GEORGE'S COMPLETE AUTO CARE TO GET THE WORK DONE.

"Hello, I am so sorry about what happened Saturday. We really messed up. With having an appointment, you should have been done and out of there in 45 minutes. I am not going to make excuses; we really let you down. Please give me an opportunity to make it up to you. Let me take care of your next 2 oil changes free of charge. If you have not already had the oil changed, let us come pick it up and deliver it for you at your convenience. We will have it back to you in less than an hour and half. Please call and ask for Ryan 542-1588 and we will arrange the pickup and delivery. Thank You George"
I did have to return the S-10. The air stopped working. I took it back and they found a small leak not found the first trip. Air-conditioning can be tricky. They fixed the problem. Ryan, Dan, Nick, George and the entire staff are professional and easy to work with. They fix the problems you approve. If you don't want something done, or want to wait a while, they don't have a problem with that either. I have tried other auto service companies. I end up returning to George's. My first experience dates back to the 80's.
