Things did not exactly go well. Woke up Friday to find the kitchen faucet wouldn't work. Called my regular plumber but he could not get to me until Monday. Had a busy morning ahead so while waiting at the doctor's office I used my iPhone to call up Angie's List and find a plumber. A list of local plumbers Angie recommended popped up on my phone and I was reading through it when my phone rang. It was a guy named Bruce who said he worked for Davis Plumbing (one of the companies on the list I was reading.) Wow! It took less than 30 seconds from the time I saw the list until he called. The list said he had an A rating with 297 reviews and he said he could come that afternoon. (NOTE: Checked Angie's List after they left and found their rating was B. Not sure how it appeared as A the first time.) I asked if his company was in Naples, FL (town I live in) and he said yes. So I agreed. He said they would be there between 100 and 300pm. About 1230pm I got a call from someone who identified himself as Tom with Davis Plumbing. Said he would be there in 30 minutes. At 110pm he arrived. He had a helper with him. For the next hour and 30 minutes they attempted to fix my faucet. They didn't impress me as knowing what they were doing. They said they had to turn on and off the water a few times during the repair process. Well, one time they miscommunicated to each other and the water got turned on when the faucet was not reassembled. Water shot up all over my ceiling and all over the floor. They quickly cleaned it up and apologized. When they finally left, the faucet was working but it is now misaligned. I'll need to get somebody to re-align it. It won't be them. They charged $200 labor for cleaning the faucet. They didn't have the right faucet cartridge (which they originally told me needed replacing) on their truck so they tried to clean the one in my faucet and reuse it. Apparently they didn't want to go to the plumbing supplies store about 2 miles from my house. So essentially they wanted $200 for labor only. They knocked off $50 because they got water all over my kitchen. Oh, and I found out they weren't from Naples. They were from Cape Coral, 50 miles from me. Would never have hired them if I had known that. So because they came same day and on time, I gave them an A in each of those categories. The rest of the categories are D. Honesty is F. And unfortunately my faith in Angie's List is shaken. How did their company show as A when the list popped up? Think I will go back to asking my neighbors who to hire and cancel my Angie's List membership. Totally dissatisfied.

This past May, less than two years after initial purchase the water heater began smoking and tripped the breakers. Called an electrician who told me the problem was with the hot water heater. Called another recommended Angies List plumber who pointed out how the hot water safety valve was not installed properly, nor was the electrical connection properly done. This individual contacted the manufacturer and got the okay for a free replacement. I, of course, had to not only pay for the installation, but also for modifications that would bring to code. I am out an additional $400 and I am not happy.

On May 28, 2016 the water heater leaked and flooded my garage. I called on the 28th and was informed the mailbox was full. I called again on the 29th and the box was still full. At 11AM I was able to leave a message. No one ever returned my call. I understand it was a weekend, and a Holiday weekend besides, but to this day I have never heard from them. You may to think twice before dealing with this Company!

I was horribly disappointed with the service. At first, everything went fine but it didn't last. They had to cut into all the walls to replace the pipes, as expected, but I had specifically asked them to plug all the holes before they left so my cats wouldn't crawl into the spaces and they only plugged one of five. They had been told I had just had eye surgery and could not lift anything so, when they left and I discovered they had left these holes open, I had to call someone to come over and help. They left everything they had removed from under the kitchen sink out on the floor. They left all their fast food wrappers and drink cups on a table in my living room. They left drink containers all over the house and garage. They left blobs of sauter all over my driveway and worst of all, they left all the giant boxes the pipes came in for me to get rid of. When they were asking for a check they asked for more than my contract required. I showed them my contract then I made them call the office and then they relented and accepted the original price. I had also asked them to check the non-working toilet in one bathroom while they were there and they neglected to do so. All in all, they were not thoughtful or considerate and they left a huge mess. I would not use this company again. I was very disappointed since Angies list gave them such a high rating.

They are excellent. They were prompt to respond, price was very fair and people were nice. I called back for a concern regarding the water pressure in the water heater was not as good as it was prior to its replacement and they were back here immediately. They are a very good company.

I spent $300. I think plumbing is expensive anyway. That's a lot of money for me. It seems like the repair people are stuck in that one figure. This company, the owner is Bruce, and he is a nice man and he works very good but he didn't fix the problem. The problem was we weren't getting enough water pressure to take whatever was in the bowl down. They fixed it to the point where it flushes twice which is great but it runs up my water bill. It takes so long ti fill. So I called them and told him that I wished they could come out and fix that. So he wanted to send someone out that day and I told him I had an appointment and I don't know how long it's going to take. So when I came home I had 2 messages from the workmen that called me and said they were in the area and wanted to do the work after I told them not to. I never bothered to call them back. They're nice people, I had no problem with that but the $300 for the work wasn't fixed to the way I wanted it.

Plumbers arrived about 9:30am. They called 20-minutes ahead to confirm address. They came in, removed the toilet top and adjusted the 2-fixtures for my new dual flush Toto Toilet. (The previous plumber didn't know about Totos I guess. I thought it was roots causing a blockage because water flow was so slow.) It's fixed now. And runs beautifully. I had them also diagnose a 1988 Kohler Quiet Toilet that I love. They gave me three options, including do nothing because it wasn't really broken…who is that honest anymore? I chose a proactive solution and had them find original Kohler parts and fix it. It will last another 26-years.

On three occasions we used Davis Jr. Plumbing, services from replacing water line into house, installing new Toilet, complete replumb of house. On each call we had immediate response , quality repairs, reasonable price. The service on two occasions were well beyond any expectations, including the Plumbing staff agreeing to come on Memorial day, the replumb was completed in one day, thanks to enough manpower and a coordinated well managed efforts. The install was followed by a repair crew to close and repair the walls. Having been a Contractor for many years I seldom found that level of service.

The job went well and he was in and out in a very short time. James the plumber did an excellent job and we would highly recommend him for future plumbing needs.

They came, they worked, it was perfect, they cleaned up, and left.

Very prompt and friendly. Knowledgeable and high attention to detail. Very neat and professional. I would recommend Davis Jr. Plumbing to any one that requires plumbing work or installation.
