Most recently my central vac would not shut off. The only way to stop it was to go into the garage and pull the plumb. Dana came over the day after we called him and determined that the problem was not in the walls or piping but in the canister itself. He called the manufacturer and found out that there is a 10 year warranty on the unit (it is 5 years old). It was sent off to the manufacturer, they said that it could not be fixed and it was replaced with a brand new unit. Previously, he has fixed a problem with our security system when one of the contacts were bad and we were unable to arm the system.
