What a pleasant experience , 29 days from dig to water in pool!!! WAY TO GO RANDY!. Randy from custom pools was our point man and was on site every day during construction. The whole process could not have gone smoother. All sub contractors and the crew from custom pools were wonderful to work with! The pool looks wonderful and we could not be happier. We highly recommend this company!

Custom Pools By Design's reputation preceded them. In the pool building business, I don't believe that there are "apples to apples" comparisons that can be ACCURATELY made. As opposed to interviewing every pool builder in the area, I counted on the reputation and references given to me by their former customers - not from their customer reference list, either. I was not disappointed!. They were thorough, professional and on-time, all the time.

We were dissatisfied with our pool maintenance company. They were spending about 10 minutes per week when they arrived to service the pool and only vacuumed when we asked (and had to argue about it with them). There was visible algae on the walls and debris on the bottom. Coincidentally a friend mentioned they too were switching companies and told us about Custom Pools by Design, so we checked them out on Angie's List. After speaking with Candi, who is always very quick to respond, we decided to give them a try. They've been providing weekly service for about 6 weeks now and while it is slightly more expensive than the previous company, their professionalism and attention to detail are well worth the rate. We also enlisted them to repair a leak in our filter which was just completed and are waiting a few days to make sure the leak has stopped. Our pool is looking pristine again and the regular technician, Ray, is a really pleasant guy and tolerates our extremely friendly dog very well. We're very pleased.

They are the main contractors and they had in-house people that did most of the work. They sub-contracted some work, such as electrical, out. Wayne, the main contractor, did an excellent job. I have no complaints at all. The pool came out great. There were a couple very small instances, but they came right out and fixed and addressed any issues we had. I got several quotes from other companies and I think I went with the right one. He finished the whole job in the allotted time he quoted, as well.

EXCEPTIONAL. Pool installation in Florida has the potential to be a nightmare if done by anyone other than a reputable contractor, and it is not unusual to hear horror stories of customers left with an empty hole in their yard and an even bigger one in their wallet. This is not the case with Custom Pools. All charges and services are explained UP FRONT, and payment is made as each phase of the work is completed. In addition to delivering a VERY high quality product, the work was closely supervised and DONE in less than a month, which for this area is a stellar achievement. HIGHLY AND UNEQUIVOCALLY RECOMMENDED
