Capital Roofing and Sheet Metal Inc

They kept rescheduling after multiple times. They eventually came out and patched a hole in the roof, then stated they could not get the permits to do the full roof until November! They also claimed that I had termites, but then provided no proof of infestation and I had a 2nd opinion who told me there were no termites. I've asked for my money back and found another company. I then saw on the news that there was another woman who had given them $20,000 and never received their money back. They've claimed they will send me back my money, but I have not received it yet.

We paid them and they did not pay their suppliers and we ended up with a $9,000 lien on the house because of this issue.

I gave deposit on December 4th and promised to start in 2 weeks. Of course that never happened. Finally started at the end of January after having to spend numerous hours on the phone to try to get them to start. Always a new excuse. Second installment was a lot more than what originally quoted but i paid because i needed work done.  Owners wife went crazy when i told her i wanted my GC to take a look at the work. According to him and another person, rood was not installed the right way. Owner of Capital Roofing said he was coming to take a look at job, never showed up.  Today is March 3rd and still don't have finished roof.  Lie after lie. Yes, my Sales person was Jay Chapa as well, who could care less after i gave him deposit.

September 2015, we met with Jay Chapa, a sales rep for Capital Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc. of Cape Coral for a quote on replacing our roof. We signed a contract, October 6, 2015, and gave them 1/3 down, which promptly was deposited the next day. Finally in January nearly 3 months later after hearing a plethora of excuses, they showed up to tear off old roof and put stick-um materials to protect from weather.  January 14, 2016 Duncan Munroe, personally came to pick up the next 1/3 down payment, which was promptly deposited same day for the roof materials. We were assured all was well and we would have our roof soon. Here we are February 11, 2016, and still no roof or materials. Again, next Tuesday or Thursday, we have heard every nice excuse under the sun, which Iâ??m giving them an extra 1/2 point for.  We picked this company because they had good reviews. Pretty sure we deserve a 5 star for patience.
