Trishia, salesperson and 2 installers, Tim and Cy arrived, they came in and brought all the materials to install blinds I bought from them. Everything was fine until they put up the valance in the living room. I had asked for an interior mount, but the valance extends approximately 1 1/1- 2 inches outside of window frame.  Tim, started to ask me if I wanted the valance or not. I asked to see an example in another room without valance so I could see how it looked. He started telling me it was MY fault if I didn't like how it looked because of "my lack of research." He became very nasty and unpleasant. I told him not to talk to me anymore to just do the job. I told the sales rep, Trisha, to just do a normal install on the blinds. He kept going on and on about how it was my fault as I didn't do MY research. He said "call the police and I will see you in court." He even started approaching me and disrespecting me in my own home. He told me that if I wanted his respect, that I had to earn it. Tim said to Trishia and Cy they sould  take down the blinds they had already installed and leave. I asked just Tim to leave and  have Cy finish the installation. Tim refused to leave. Trisha, the sales rep, wanted me to write out my check for the balance before they finished the installation. I paid half of the money at the time of signing the contract and the remainder was due after the installation.  Trisha then called her manager to tell her that I was not going to pay the balance which was a complete lie. Trishia put phone on speaker and I heard her manager, Kristina say I was crazy and that if I was not going to pay they should not finish installing the blinds. Cy told me he could not finish if his boss said to stop. I said loudly so Kristina could hear that I never said I would not pay. I only pointed out that my payment included installation. Kristina told Tim to leave my home so he went out to his truck. Cy then went to garage to install that blind and I asked Trishia to also come to the garage. Trisha refused to leave my living room. She said she would go outside but only if I paid the balance and 3 more blinds needed to be installed. After I asked her 2 more times, Trishia said "this is ridiculous and came and stood in the hall way where I could partly see her.  Keep in mind, this is in MY HOUSE!  I was informed that when someone refuses to leave my home when asked it  is TRESPASSING and that person can be arrested for not leaving. Trishia told her manager that I was being completely unreasonable when in fact, Trisha was being very hostile. Kristina said she was on her way and arrived shortly. I asked Kristina to put herself in my shoes and how would she feel if she had hired someone to do a job and they were rude and call her crazy. She said she would feel "bad". I never refused to pay but the contract was for blinds and their installation. Kristina and Cy finished the installation and I paid the bill in full. This was such an awful experience and I will never use this company again. The horizontal blinds look good but one of the vertical blinds has a large gap along the side probably due to poor measuring by Trisha . I also noticed they scratched my front door. Family room blind header (not valance) protrudes outside of window frame. They will not honor the warranty they promised. Visa gave me my disputed amount although Vertical Blinds Plus refused to fix the problems or give me any compensation.

We have thousands of satisfied customers and unfortunately sometimes when you work with the public you run into people you wish you never conducted business with. I will not waste any additional time on this issue but do have to say I should have stuck to my instinct and told her we did not want to do business with her from the moment she walked in - We knew she was trouble. I can't begin to tell you what an excellent experience it was dealing with this company! Blinds Plus is a family owned company and they do all of the measuring, ordering and installation. They met my every expectation and exceeded them. They matched another company's small price difference to get the job and succeeded in making me SO glad I chose them.
The blinds came in within the time frame they gave me. We had a leaking ceiling problem that had to be dealt with before some of the shutters could be installed, so they installed the other treatments and stored the shutters till we were ready. Every time I spoke with Rosy, she was so very accommodating and kind. From the beginning to the end  they have all been great! I have even had to have them come back just this past Thursday ( 1/10/13 ) to fix a blind that a renter broke. Rosy was very helpful and she worked me into their very busy schedule. 
This was a warranty fix done in a very timely and professional fashion.
 When I was crying on Rosy's shoulder about our property mgmt company she said, " Well don't worry.... we're always here for you".  And I believe her!
I have not found many other companies we've dealt with in Florida to be this worthy of praise.If you are looking for a company with great integrity ,honesty and service , call Blinds Plus. You will not be disappointed.
