They were very nice. It is not something they see everyday but the were able to do it for us. They are a a very honest and a very good company.

My A/C had a freon leak. I called several a/c companies and asked what the cost and procedure was to locate and repair a freon leak. The owner of Bakers spoke with me. He explained the different options, what he recommended and the cost involved. He was informative, recommended the least expensive option for finding the leak and explained why he preferred that option over other options that costed more (other companies I spoke to wanted to do the more expensive option first). From his experience, he thought the leak was most likely coming from the coil. I decided to go with Bakers because they were straight shooters and did not speak like a salesmen. The owner came out, checked everything out and found the leak, in the coil. He was very thorough (did not rush) and professional. He ordered the coil and installed it 2 days later. Again, the guys were very professional and did a great job. The coil was under warranty so I only had to pay for the labor. The cost was considerably less than the other companies had quoted me. I am extremely impressed with Bakers. They are a family owned company and care about the quality of service they provide. They are honest and know what they are doing. They don't try to sell you anything. They just care about providing you quality service at the best price. I have found a great A/C company and will do all my business with them in the future.

They were reasonable and it works. The quality and price were good.

Service was prompt. Labor cost reasonable. HOWEVER the service man tried to extort an additional $50 from the renter (this is rental property) for gasoline. And the final bill was WAY out of line. Bakers charged $120 for a part (motor capacitor) that another service company would have charged $15. The fan motor itself was billed at $375 and should have cost $140. Rental agent complained and threatened repeatedly. Bakers eventually refunded $140. We would NOT recommend these people.

David came for the estimate and was very thorough. He noticed things the previous contractor failed to see (had 2 estimates done). He didn't push expensive products on us; rather, he explained which system would work best for our condo (though he did explain all possible options). He was very knowledgeable and explained everything very clearly, answering all of our questions. We were pleased to find we could schedule our installation for the following day. The workers arrived promptly and were very professional and incredibly polite. I liked that I was able to hang out in the living room and not feel like an intruder in my own home--they weren't chatty like many services I've had in the past. I felt very comfortable with them in my home. They had everything installed quickly and expertly and my new system runs beautifully! When I had a concern about a noise I was hearing in the wall, David quickly sent a tech (within 30 mins) to check it out and explain it was the freon from the pressurized system.
